Allen Robinson II 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Former Star Likely Off Fantasy Radar In Pittsburgh
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson II is coming off of his two worst seasons in the NFL, totaling 71 receptions for 749 yards and four touchdowns with the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams. The 2021 Bears and 2022 Rams both had bottom-five offenses in the NFL, but it's tough to dismiss the big-time regression for the former Pro Bowl wideout. Robinson has three seasons of at least 1,100 receiving yards on his resume, but the 29-year-old looks to be way past his prime in 2023. The Steelers have promising young pass-catchers in George Pickens, Diontae Johnson, and Pat Freiermuth, so it seems unlikely Robinson will be high on the fantasy football radar. He will add a veteran presence and be a fine WR3 for Kenny Pickett, but considering Pickett's upside is unknown, Robinson looks to be headed toward another mediocre campaign. All that said, he is being drafted outside the top 200 picks in 2023 fantasy drafts, so he costs next to nothing for people who still believe in him.
