We're finally inside the red zone and looking to score the rock. Welcome back to RotoBaller for another round of bold predictions with the big man from the Big Apple. Hope you've enjoyed the series so far, but no time for celebrating -- we've got fantasy matchups to win!
Got 11 freshly baked bold calls in my bag for this upcoming weekend of fantasy football. As expected, we've experienced hits and misses, but that's simply the name of the game when playing for outliers. Just make sure when you do hit on a long shot, make it count.
This Week 14 slate is considerably more stacked than last week, with multiple game totals north of 45 -- and CIN/BUF currently heading for the mid-50s. No naps this Sunday afternoon... Let's go!

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons
Seattle is on its way to the ATL, pressing for the title of league's best team. Meanwhile, the Falcons struggled to take down the hapless Jets, possessing no reasonable answer for the Seahawks heading into this tilt on either side of the ball.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba returning to peak powers and scoring more than 4.3 fantasy points is definitely happening, but not bold enough for our purposes. Atlanta's all-or-none run defense makes headlines again, allowing the monster Kenneth Walker III breakout we've waited for all season -- he goes for 25+ fantasy points and a top-5 RB finish.

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Let the records show I've been pumping the internet full of Tyler Shough propaganda since the Saints' Week 10 win in Carolina. I'll say it once more -- for my money, he's the best rookie QB passer by an order of magnitude.
I know this piece is more fantasy-centric than betting, but my bold take is New Orleans wins this one outright as eight-point underdogs. So, give me all the fantasy boldness that goes with the upset. The trio of Shough, Chris Olave, and Juwan Johnson all ball out as the Sunday stack you need to cash.
Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns
If the Titans play the Browns but no one's around to see it, does it make a sound? Yes, one of these teams will mercifully add a win to this season's ledger in a Toilet Bowl for the ages. With that, actual football will be played, and to my eyes, Quinshon Judkins represents the best offensive player on either side by a country mile.
Browns HC Kevin Stefanski does his best to hide Shedeur Sanders' misplaced heroic propensities behind his rookie stud's ball-handling skills in the Wildcat. Cleveland rides a strong defense and 25 carries from Judkins on his way to two scores.
Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills
Vince Guaraldi Trio's "O Tannenbaum" from "Charlie Brown Christmas" just started playing in the background -- and it made me laugh picturing myself in a yellow shirt, landing in the leaves after missing the Keon Coleman football again.
Maybe you had to be there. Anyway, perhaps it's because I can't stand Cam Newton's shtick cosplaying as a Gotham villain, but I'm calling my shot (again). Coleman's hero arc is upon us...

Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
With the monster season he's currently having, picking Jonathan Taylor to finish anywhere outside the top five feels bold enough to puff your chest out. Sadly, I've got some bad news for Taylor GMs -- it's about to get much worse.
Daniel Jones' lack of mobility with a bum leg crowds the box all day, and Jacksonville's top-flight front seven strikes again. Taylor disappoints with his third RB3 finish in his last five games. Ouch.

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets
Fine, the spreadsheet says both the Dolphins and Jets hit a defensive stride of late -- but I'm not buying it for one second. Ignore the uninspiring 41-point game total. I'm preparing for fireworks at MetLife. Tua Tagovailoa and Tyrod Taylor both go off, carrying every player you love to hate to the fantasy promised land. Double-stack it every way with random TDs for John Metchie III and Malik Washington.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens
Easily the most bittersweet bold prediction of the bunch. After a much-maligned season as the QB16 in fantasy points per game, the one true king of the north, Lamar Jackson, reassumes the throne. Hail!
It's been even worse for the two-time MVP since returning from injury, who's unbelievably the QB31 in that time frame. Wild stuff. Talk about stretching the imagination for a range of outcomes -- it's hard to believe Jackson's been this bad for that long. Well, the universe heals just a little as Baltimore's face of the franchise goes nuclear in his first 30-point outing of 2025. Whew.

Washington Commanders at Minnesota Vikings
Stoppable forces meet easily movable objects, as Washington's league-worst defense in terms of EPA and yards allowed per play rolls into Minnesota to face J.J. McCarthy and the Vikings. Something's gotta give.
If anyone could make that Commanders defense look competent, it's the NFL's worst quarterback ... and vice versa. My initial bold prediction was the universe sucks itself into a wormhole before getting our answer -- but just slightly more realistic is McCarthy hanging his very first career 25-point game on the ledger against a horrific defense. Whoever loses this battle should hide in disgrace.

Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
Mix a continually increasing usage boost with a touch of injury luck in the season's lowest scoring weekend, and what do you get? A highly unlikely Week 13 overall RB2 finish from rookie RJ Harvey despite gaining just 62 yards. More surprising is this weekend's encore, as Sean Payton finally capitulates to using his most explosive tailback like a proper bell cow.
Las Vegas' front seven is banged up (Maxx Crosby downgraded to DNP on Thursday), and its inability to create pressure has been the Raiders' major hang-up all season. Harvey banks the explosive run that's been missing for his highest scoring game of 2025. Hooray!

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals
It's ok if not all my bold predictions are fun, right? Sadly, just as the entire fantasy universe crowned Jacoby Brissett the next best thing, a second-half shoe drops in the desert. During this legendary five-game run as fantasy football's QB3 in points per game, Brissett plummets to 18th when isolated to the first half.
Eventually, that luck is going to run out, especially with a double-digit off-target throw rate and 7.4 average target depth. The Cards get crushed into tiny pieces Sunday by the Rams interior -- and no one outside Trey McBride is worth starting in fantasy.

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
The Bears somehow keep the magic rolling in the tundra as the Burden is lifted. See what I did there? Two weeks ago, Chicago's second-round rookie leapfrogged Olamide Zaccheaus in route participation, and just this past weekend, out-earned DJ Moore in targets for his first career team lead in opportunities.
This time, Luther Burden III levels up once more with Rome Odunze sidelined -- outscoring the entire Bears pass-catching room with 20+ fantasy points in his first true conventional coming-out party (he scored on a 65-yard flea flicker TD in Week 3). No tricks this time, all treats for the future star.
