Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:
Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants
New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson has been the team's clear No. 1 target this season without Malik Nabers (knee) and has been a useful player for fantasy purposes. Robinson has racked up 53 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns on 79 targets in 10 games this season, averaging 12.5 PPR points per game.
The 24-year-old has drawn 11 or more targets in three of his past four games and could see similar usage in Week 11 as the Giants will be without Darius Slayton (hamstring). The Giants will be starting Jameis Winston in place of an injured Jaxson Dart (concussion) with an interim head coach in Mike Kafka after the firing of Brian Daboll earlier this week.
Robinson should be in line for a busy day as the team's clear top target against a stout Green Bay Packers defense in Week 11. He is a solid start as a WR2 in 12-team leagues this week and ranks as RotoBaller's WR21 in PPR leagues.
Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions
Through nine games this season, Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has recorded 27 catches for 474 yards and four touchdowns on 43 targets. Encouragingly for his fantasy outlook, the majority of the 24-year-old's production has come in recent weeks. Williams has now recorded at least six targets, 66 receiving yards, and a touchdown in three out of his last four games, including a season-high 119 receiving yards in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders.
Williams and the Lions will face a much tougher test in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Through 10 weeks, Philadelphia has allowed the ninth-fewest passing yards (1,979) in the NFL, and they are tied with the Denver Broncos for the fewest passing touchdowns allowed (eight). However, the Lions will be without tight end Sam LaPorta (back).
That could lead to a few extra targets for Williams, particularly if Detroit is chasing points. Williams still has bust potential, but he profiles as a solid fantasy WR3 in Week 11.
Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White has struggled to find much room to run over the last few games. Last week, White was held to 38 rushing yards on 10 attempts during the loss to the New England Patriots.
White has been held to 38 rushing yards or fewer in each of his last three games. The 26-year-old will make at least one more start with Bucky Irving (shoulder, toe) still sidelined.
Rachaad White does have a plus-matchup against a Buffalo Bills defense that is allowing 5.4 yards per carry. There's enough upside here to consider White a RB2 for this weekend.
Keenan Allen, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen enters Week 11 as the franchise's all-time receptions leader, but his fantasy production remains concerning. Allen has caught four or fewer passes in his last three games, with only 15 targets during that span and just one red-zone target.
Although he faces a vulnerable Jacksonville Jaguars secondary that has struggled to defend big plays, his significantly reduced snap share and route rate limit the volume he needs to succeed for fantasy managers.
While he might have a favorable individual matchup against Jaguars cornerback Montaric Brown, who is allowing a 13.5-yard average depth of target (ADOT), the overall decrease in usage downgrades him to a high-end WR4/FLEX option. Setting expectations accordingly is wise, as he is no longer the volume-dependent starter he was earlier in the season.
Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle, ribs) logged a full practice on Friday and does not carry an injury designation into his team's Week 11 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 25-year-old has been a steady contributor in Buffalo all year, recording 45 catches for 457 yards and three touchdowns on 58 targets across nine games.
Entering Week 11, Shakir has recorded at least seven targets and six catches in three straight contests. He could see an even further increase in target share against Tampa Bay due to the absence of Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (hamstring). The Buccaneers defense has been a bottom-10 unit this season in terms of yards allowed per pass attempt (7.4).
Shakir doesn't carry explosive upside, but he should provide a very stable floor, given the combination of his opponent and his upside for targets. In Week 11, Shakir profiles as a low-end fantasy WR2.
