Jerome Ford Not a Strong Fantasy Option in Week 10
Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford will come out of his bye to take on the New York Jets on the road in Week 10. Ford has been lightly used behind starter Quinshon Judkins this season, seeing just 21 carries and 21 receptions over eight games. The veteran running back draws a plus matchup in theory against the Jets, who are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to running backs. That said, Ford is unlikely to see a large enough workload to rack up fantasy points against New York. He remains a solid bench stash as a handcuff, but should not be in fantasy lineups heading into Week 10.

Emari Demercado Has Flex Value in Week 10 Against Seattle
Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado led the team in rushing in their Week 9 win over the Dallas Cowboys, handling 14 carries for 79 yards. Demercado's role for Week 10, however, is still uncertain after head coach Jonathan Gannon has provided no insight whatsoever into their plans for how they will manage the backfield on Sunday in Seattle. Arizona's backfield has been a nightmare for fantasy managers to figure out recently, but Demercado provides some element of explosiveness and big-play ability that Bam Knight and Michael Carter don't offer. Knight has maintained the slight upper hand on snaps in recent weeks, while Carter has slid to the RB3 role. Demercado has the most juice as a receiver out of the backfield, which is an area that Seattle has struggled with this season, allowing the second-most receptions (48) to opposing running backs. It's tough to know for certain, but Knight and Demercado project to split most of the touches on Sunday, with Knight on early downs and Demercado on pass downs.

Jacoby Brissett Ranks As Low-End QB2 In Tough Week 10 Matchup Against Seattle
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is in line to make his fourth start of the season, with Kyler Murray (foot) placed on Injured Reserve and his future with the team being in question. Brissett has provided a jolt for the Cardinals' offense since becoming the starter in Week 6, completing 65.8% of his passes for 860 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception while adding 14 carries for 49 yards and another score on the ground. The 32-year-old has averaged 22.8 fantasy points and ranks as QB10 during that span. Brissett has elevated the offense with his ability to work on time and in structure, with Marvin Harrison Jr. recording a career high seven catches in their Week 9 win at the Dallas Cowboys and feeding star tight end Trey McBride targets in the red zone, with him scoring four touchdowns in Brissett's three starts. Brissett faces a tough matchup in Week 10, as they face the division-leading Seattle Seahawks, who allow just a 5.4 net yards per pass attempt this season, the seventh-best mark in the league.

Juwan Johnson Poised for Bigger Role in Week 10
New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson caught the only Saints touchdown in Week 9 against the Rams, finishing with three receptions for 31 yards on four targets. This marked his sixth game of the season with at least 50 receiving yards or a touchdown. The return of fellow tight ends Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau briefly lowered Johnson's stock, but he has bounced back with 13 receptions for 163 yards and a touchdown over his last three games. With Rashid Shaheed traded at the deadline and the Saints lacking depth at the receiver position, Johnson should be in line for an uptick in targets. He ranks as a borderline TE1/TE2 against the Panthers in Week 10, who allow the 13th-most PPR points to tight ends.

Brock Purdy Could Return in Week 11
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) is getting a lot closer to returning, and the team is hopeful that he can start in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. The 49ers will decide before their matchup on Sunday against the Rams if Purdy will be active as the team's No. 2 quarterback behind Mac Jones, a promising sign in his recovery. Purdy came back in Week 4 against the Jaguars, but ultimately made the turf toe injury worse and has since missed five consecutive games. The 25-year-old hasn't registered a full practice since Week 4, but it looks like he is getting close to returning as San Francisco's QB1. Jones has filled in admirably in Purdy's absence, but he will move back to being the backup quarterback once Purdy is ready to go.

Chris Olave Set to Lead Saints' Passing Attack Against Panthers
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave caught three of four targets for 57 yards in the Week 9 loss to the Rams. The four targets marked a season low after he entered the week ranked second in the league in targets while Spencer Rattler was under center. With rookie Tyler Shough now at the helm, the two will need to develop chemistry quickly, especially after the Saints traded away Rashid Shaheed, who led the team in targets during Shough's first start. Olave is averaging a career-low 10.2 yards per reception but a career-high 6.1 catches per game, showcasing his reliability as the clear No. 1 option in the passing game. His ceiling remains high, though quarterback uncertainty keeps him in the WR2 range for Week 10 against a tough Panthers defense that has allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points to wide receivers.

Kyle Pitts Sr. a Solid TE1 in Week 10 Matchup Against Colts
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. is seeing consistent looks in this offense in 2025, averaging over six targets, five catches, and 47 yards per game this season. Unfortunately, it has yet to translate to touchdowns, as the 25-year-old has recorded just one score on the year. That could change this weekend, as Week 10 brings a matchup in Germany against the Colts. Indianapolis has allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game in the NFL over its last three games (268.7) and has allowed 24.5 points per game on the road (16.6 PPG at home). Not only that, they've yielded a touchdown pass to a tight end in four consecutive games now. With newly acquired CB Sauce Gardner set to cover Drake London or another receiver, it could open things up more for Pitts, so the 6-foot-6 tight end projects as a top 10 option at the position this week.

Jayden Daniels Could Return After Three Weeks
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) could potentially return after three weeks, though the timeline could end up being a five- to six-week period, depending on his evaluation after the bye week in Week 12, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Daniels did not suffer any ligament damage and won't need surgery on his injured left elbow, and will avoid being placed on Injured Reserve. It was a gruesome-looking injury for the second-year quarterback during Washington's Week 9 loss to the Seahawks, but it looks like Daniels avoided a significant season-ending injury and could be back for the team's Week 13 matchup against the Broncos following their bye week. Washington's record could play into the decision on when and if he returns, but if he is back to full health, fantasy managers can expect Daniels to suit up and play. Veteran Marcus Mariota will slide back in as the starter while Daniels is sidelined.

Devin Neal's Workload Could Rise in Week 10
New Orleans Saints running back Devin Neal logged three carries for 11 yards and caught his lone target for one yard in the Week 9 loss to the Rams. With Alvin Kamara officially questionable due to an ankle injury ahead of Week 10, Neal could be in line for additional work. The rookie was a sixth-round pick after an impressive career at Kansas, where he set program records with 4,343 rushing yards and 49 touchdowns. However, he's seen limited action in the NFL, totalling just six carries for 21 yards and four receptions for 12 yards. Even if he draws the start against the Panthers, Neal should remain on waivers in most formats, though he could hold deep-league appeal if Kamara is sidelined.

Matthew Golden Day-To-Day, Fighting To Play in Week 10
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said on Saturday that rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder) is day-to-day and is "fighting to play," according to Weston Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Packers. Golden left early during Green Bay's Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers and was listed as limited in practice on Thursday, but was downgraded to DNP on Friday. LaFleur said that they will see how the rookie first-rounder is feeling and that he needs to "be able to handle everything we're throwing at him." Golden has had an underwhelming season so far in a crowded Packers' pass-catching group, but he has looked dynamic on his limited targets. The rookie has caught 23 of his 29 targets for 262 yards and added eight carries for 45 yards in eight games, but is still searching for his first career touchdown. Golden may need a week to recover from the shoulder injury, with more updates on his status expected soon.

Alvin Kamara's Struggles Continue Heading Into Week 10
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. In Week 9 against the Rams, he continued his season-long struggles, recording just four carries for 14 yards and one reception for four yards. Kamara is in the midst of the worst season of his career, posting lows in nearly every major category: 3.6 yards per carry, 41.9 rushing yards per game, 16.7 receiving yards per game, and 3.9 yards per touch. He also hasn't found the end zone since Week 1. Facing a Panthers defense that allows 110.8 rushing yards and 1.1 rushing touchdowns per game, Kamara is trending in the wrong direction and no longer offers a reliable fantasy floor. He's a low-end RB2, slipping closer to RB3 territory for the divisional matchup.

Michael Penix Jr. a Mid-Range QB2 for Matchup With Colts in Germany
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. appears to be rounding into form after a slow, inconsistent start to the season, now with a touchdown pass in four straight games and a 7:1 TD:INT over that span. While that's a positive, the 25-year-old is completing just 60.8 percent of his passes, which is the fourth-lowest mark in the NFL, only slightly better than the likes of Cam Ward (57.6 percent) and Dillon Gabriel (59.9 percent), so he can be hard to trust for fantasy. Week 10 brings a road matchup against the Colts in Berlin, Germany, a defense that is middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs, and that has allowed the fourth-most passing YPG in the NFL over the last three games (268.7). Penix has a lower completion percentage on the road (56.1 percent), but Indianapolis has been more forgiving on the road, allowing 24.5 points per game on the road compared to 16.6 PPG at home. They'll also be without pass-rushing DT DeForest Buckner, which should give Penix a bit more time to throw, and as 6.5-point underdogs, that's likely what he'll have to do. Even so, the left-handed QB shapes up as a mid-range QB2 in Week 10.

Tyler Shough Aims to Bounce Back After Tough First Start
New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough went 15-for-24 for 176 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in his first career start against the Rams. He led the Saints on a 71-yard touchdown drive to close out the first half but otherwise struggled to sustain offense, with New Orleans holding the ball for just 16:07 compared to Los Angeles' 43:53. The Saints also traded receiver Rashid Shaheed, Shough's most targeted player in the loss, to Seattle at the deadline. On the positive side, Shough wasn't afraid to air it out, connecting with both Shaheed and Chris Olave on completions of over 25 yards. He'll look to rebound against the division-rival Carolina Panthers, who are allowing 205.8 passing yards per game, 15th in the league. Shough remains off fantasy radars for now.

Parker Washington a PPR Flex Play in Week 10
Despite a difficult matchup with the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington seems like a solid flex starter this week. With Brian Thomas Jr. out of the lineup, Washington seems like the prime candidate to step up as the top target. The Jaguars did acquire Jakobi Meyers via trade, but time will tell how quickly he gets acclimated. That all could mean plenty of targets for Washington, but efficiency is more of a question mark. The young receiver surprisingly had a season-high 11 targets earlier this season against the Texans, and is coming off 19 combined targets the last two weeks. The Jaguars' offense may struggle, but it at least seems Washington will catch plenty of passes to have a solid fantasy day in Week 10.
Texans Made Calls Inquiring About Breece Hall
The Houston Texans made calls to the New York Jets about running back Breece Hall, according to Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. The Texans were looking to make a big splash at the deadline with the Jets' star running back, but the asking price was ultimately too high for their liking. Hall was discussed in multiple trade rumors before the deadline, most commonly linked to the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Texans were apparently looking to make an upgrade to their running back room as well. Veteran Nick Chubb and rookie Woody Marks will continue to split reps in Houston's backfield moving forward, with neither presenting significant fantasy upside behind a poor offensive line.
