Kai Asakura Wins Back-To-Back Fights

The former flyweight title challenger Kai Asakura won his second consecutive fight by finishing Aori Aoriqileng with a brutal second-round TKO on the main card of UFC Shanghai on Saturday. In the second round, Asakura landed a left high kick that hurt Aoriqileng; he then followed up with a barrage of punches, dropping Aoriqileng, and then finished him with vicious knees to the body. In 5:34 of action, Asakura landed 27 significant strikes. With the win, Asakura improved to 23-6 as a pro and is now 2-2 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
