Daily NBA Prop Bets - Top Player Props, Value Picks and Quick Odds (10/24/25)

Stephon Castle - NBA DFS Picks, Fantasy Basketball Rankings

Thunder Dan Palyo's top NBA prop bets for 10/24/25: expert player-prop picks, value plays, quick model edges and line-shopping tips for today’s slate. Check odds & get the edge.

The NBA content is humming already here at RotoBaller, and I am psyched to be bringing you our second NBA props article of the 2025 season. My props partner, Keith Eyster, did a great job on Wednesday night, hitting three of his five bets, and I've been doing pretty well myself this year with a 15-8 record through the first three slates!

We have had only one big slate so far this year, but tonight brings another 12-game slate and a lot of prop opportunities! I will try not to overreact to some player performances in their first game; however, I still want to attack some spots where the market has yet to adjust to new roles for players, too, while also trying to find the absolute best possible matchups. There is a ton of value on the board, so I am going to have to stop myself at some point otherwise I would be writing up picks all morning!

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Friday, October 24th. Prop picks can range from individual stats such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, or defensive stats as well as combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed as well, but always shop around as those odds change throughout the day as bets come in. Let's get to the picks!

Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets & Player Props

Early-season NBA player props present a prime opportunity for bettors to get ahead of oddsmakers, capitalizing on new trends, unexpected rotations, and shifts in play style from last season. With teams still settling into their identities, sharp bettors can often find mispriced lines before the markets adjust.

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Stephon Castle over 25.5 Points and Assists (-112 FD)

Castle was fantastic in the Spurs' opener, starting at point guard for San Antonio with De'Aaron Fox out. He racked up 22 points, seven boards, and six assists in just 28 minutes. The Spurs' starters didn't even have to close out the game as they won going away in Dallas.

Castle's 31% usage rate was behind only Wembanyama and Dylan Harper on Wednesday, and he led the team with a 28% assist rate. The Pelicans' defense was incredibly soft last season, and I expect the Spurs to continue to put up a big number tonight, as they did in the opener when they had 125 points against Dallas.

Desmond Bane over 18.5 Points (-116 DK)

Bane wasted no time making an impact for his new team, scoring 23 points to help lead the Magic to a win over Miami on Wednesday. He led the team with a 30.5 usage rate and 18 shot attempts, hitting three of six from beyond the arc.

The Magic brought him in to make those long balls and help share the scoring burden with Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero. He's going to be a 20+ point per game player this year, so let's take advantage of this low bar tonight for Bane as he's facing an Atlanta team that allowed 138 points to Toronto on opening night.

Alperen Sengun over 5.5 Assists (-130 FanDuel)

Sengun has the top matchup today in our RotoBaller matchup ratings, and his assist prop remains too low for his role in this Houston offense without Fred Van Vleet. He handed out a team-best seven assists on opening night, and without a true point guard on the roster, he should continue to help facilitate the offense.

Jalen Duren is not known for his defense, and neither is Isiah Stewart behind him. Look for Sengun to dominate in the paint and find open teammates for open buckets.

Austin Reaves over 32.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-102 FD)

The Lakers were a two-man show on opening night with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves carrying the offense with usage rates of 34% and 30%, respectively. Luka had a 47% assist rate with Reaves not far behind at 40.9%. Basically, these two guys are either scoring or assisting on nearly every Laker basket. You can probably bet any of Reaves individual props tonight, but grabbing his PRA at 32.5 allows us to get some nice odds at nearly even money on FD.

Top Value Props & Sleeper Picks

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies on the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Gary Trent Jr. over 11.5 Points (-116 DK)

The Bucks have Giannis Antetokounmpo as their main option on offense and have tried to surround him with a lot of good outside shooters, including their starting center, Myles Turner. Giannis does his best work in the paint, and defenses have to collapse on him, creating open threes for teammates.

Trent Jr. was chucking threes in the opener, connecting on five of 11 attempts for 17 points in just 24 minutes. I expect him to play more minutes tonight in a more competitive game against Toronto (his old team) and with fellow starting guard Kevin Porter Jr. out with an injury. This is a very low number for a shooter who is as prolific as GTJ. He could sail over this number again.

Kyshawn George over 11.5 Points (-112 DK)

I had the over on George at 9.5 points on Wednesday, and he crushed that number, posting 21 points on 15 shot attempts and eight free throw attempts. He played a team-high 32 minutes and led the team in usage with a 25% rate.

I mentioned it on X the other day, but George was fantastic in the preseason and appeared to have the green light to put up a lot of shots in this offense. The Wizards are rebuilding (again) and are going to prioritize getting their young core players as many minutes and shots as they can.

George is a great bet to go way over this number tonight. His points prop only jumped two points despite his huge game. If you want to run a points ladder all the way up to 20 points, I wouldn't blame you.

Brice Sensabaugh over 11.5 Points (-113 DK)

Sensabaugh was putting up a ton of shots in the opener as he finished with 20 points in just 22.7 minutes. This was no surprise, as he did it all preseason, too. With Isaiah Collier out and Ace Bailey on a minutes cap, Sensabaugh should see plenty of minutes with the second unit, and he led the team with a 28% usage rate. That's a huge number for a guy with such a low points prop today. Smash this number now while you can, and I think it's safe to bet even later in the day if it moves a point or two.
