Welcome, RotoBallers, to our H2H points fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups for hitters for Week 10 of the 2025 season. These fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups are for the week of June 2 - June 8, looking at players below ~50 percent rostered on ESPN or Yahoo points leagues.
We'll be doing this points league roundup every week here at RotoBaller because we know points players get neglected, and we're here to help. Player values can vary wildly from platform to platform, so we'll highlight where players are the best and worst fits, with waiver-wire targets being evaluated in terms of the different scoring systems on ESPN, Yahoo, CBS, Fantrax, and NFBC.
Position eligibility is taken from Fantrax, and players are grouped by their most valuable fantasy position, using a hierarchy of C > 2B > OF > 3B > 1B > SS. Stats and rankings are calculated using games through Saturday, May 31.

Waiver Wire Caveats and APR Explanation
Roster% Thresholds
We use a combination of roster percentages to assess who is in our target pool, relying mostly on Yahoo and ESPN. For some players, you'll notice a wide discrepancy between the two. This is because ESPN's roster percentage is heavily weighted by points players, with guys who don't do well in their system (often because of an inflated strikeout rate) lagging behind the Yahoo! roster percentage.
For this reason, you'll sometimes see players (especially early) who might make you question my sanity in including them in a waiver-wire article, but don't worry, it's just a necessary glitch for coverage purposes.
APR stands for "Average Platform Rank" and is the average hitter rank between the four major point platforms: ESPN, Yahoo, CBS, and Fantrax. All player data is from FanGraphs and Baseball Savant, with injury information pulled from the Roster Resource section on the former.

Best Choices
Carlos Santana, CLE, 1B (Yahoo: 14%, ESPN: 13%) - I'm sorry, sweet lord -- I'm all out of excuses for the silly mortals still refusing to pick your deitific entity off of their waiver wires. Santana is the #42 hitter in Week 9 after finishing at #21 in the week prior - over his last five periods, Santana is averaging a 66 APR and is now up to a 75 APR for the season.
Even better, our friendly, neighborhood points-god gets three left-handers in his six starts (@NYY, vs. HOU). Since the start of 2023, Santana has a .365 wOBA and 15% K% vs. LHP.

Nolan Schanuel, LAA, 1B (Yahoo: 10%, ESPN: 8%) - Well, Schanuel had his first bad week in a month, so I guess he'll remain shamefully under-rostered, even though he's still the #116 hitter for the entire season. He won't have to deal with any pesky lefties like he had to last week, currently scheduled against all right-handed starters in the Angels' six games (@BOS, vs. SEA).
Next Choices
Colt Keith, DET, 1B/2B (Yahoo: 12%, ESPN: 6%) - Mmmm...so pointy. Keith isn't nearly as valuable in classic, but his profile can shine in points; Keith has a 12% BB% and a .262 xBA, which suggests there might be more coming from his current .237 AVG
Miguel Vargas, CHW, 1B/3B/OF (Yahoo: 45%, ESPN: 30%) - After weeks of proclaiming how differently Vargas has been hitting the ball this season, it looks like he's finally about to cross our Roster% threshold, currently the #91 hitter in 2025. Be aware, though, that he struggles against left-handed pitchers, and the White Sox are scheduled to face three of them in four games this week (vs. DET, vs. KC).
Desperate Choices
Eric Wagaman, MIA, 1B/3B/OF (Yahoo: 4%, ESPN: 4%) - Marlins are always easy to ignore in fantasy, but Wagaman has been a top-150 hitter in 2025, with multiple periods in the top-50. Eligible at three positions, he'll get six games (vs. COL, @TB) but just one LHP in Week 10.

Chase Meidroth, CHW, 2B/3B/SS (Yahoo: 29%, ESPN: 16%) -The rookie has come back down to earth after back-to-back top-50 periods but is set up for success this week, as the White Sox will see three LHP in seven games (vs. DET, vs. KC).
Ernie Clement, TOR, 2B/3B/SS (Yahoo: 8%, ESPN: 4%) - When you make a guy named Ernie your Best Choice and he comes through as the #12 hitter, do you know what you do? You say it again -- take it away, Ern! Clement has been excellent for a month and gets six games (vs. PHI, @MIN) and one LHP in Week 10.

Otto Lopez, MIA, 2B/SS (Yahoo: 8%, ESPN: 7%) - My guy Otto is back, baby! Okay, maybe not "back" back, but he's a top-100 hitter this week and looks to slowly be rounding back into shape after a short stint on the IL. Miami has six games in Week 10 (vs. COL, @TB), with just one LHP.
Caleb Durbin, MIL, 2B/3B (Yahoo: 4%, ESPN: 2%) - Durbin has quietly locked down third base for Milwaukee since getting called up, and while a .220 AVG and .303 OBP doesn't exactly scream "points star!", Durbin makes a lot of contact (8% K%) and has been a top-50 hitter over the last two weeks. He'll get six games (@CIN, vs. SD) and two LHP in Week 10.

Best Choices
Carlos Correa, MIN, SS (Yahoo: 29%, ESPN: 40%) - Correa is a top-25 hitter in Week 10, but more importantly, will get three LHP in his seven games this week -- since the start of 2023, Correa has a .378 wOBA and .372 xwOBA, with a 16% K%, and in 2025, he's rocking a .477 wOBA, .481 xwOBA, and 175 K%.

Anyway, like a high-class IKF, Crawford continues to compile his way to relevance. Seattle gets six games in Week 10 (vs. BAL, @LAA), with two of his fellow lefties scheduled to start.

Jordan Beck, COL, OF (Yahoo: 30%, ESPN: 8%) - Beck has been an absolute dud on the road in Week 9 (surprise!) but will eventually get back home in Week 10 for three games against the Mets, after a series in Miami. Nothing says bounceback like a .471 wOBAcon getting three games in the thin air of Coors Field.
Jesus Sanchez, MIA, OF (Yahoo: 6%, ESPN: 3%) - Please, for the love of Carlos Santana -- stop messing with the Jesus! Sanchez is in the middle of his second-straight top-50 week and now has an 86 APR over the last four weeks. Miami gets six games (vs. COL, @TB) and luckily, only one of Sanchez's fellow lefties.

Sal Frelick, MIL, OF (Yahoo: 20%, ESPN: 20%) - Well, hello there, Sal-Pal! Long time, no see. Frelick has posted back-to-back top-40 weeks after a top-150 week in Week 7, ending a three-week skid. Frelick and his elite plate discipline (12% K%) get six games in Week 10 (@CIN, vs. SD), but he will, unfortunately, have to face two of his fellow lefties.

Trevor Larnach, MIN, OF (Yahoo: 10%, ESPN: 6%) - They don't call him the "Larnach Cuddly Bear"...They call him the Larnach MONSTER! Larnach got right back to dominating in Week 9 (#53 hitter) after laying down cheese last week (#296 hitter) and has been virtually a top-50 hitter in three of his last four periods, and four in the past six.
Unfortunately, there is some bad news; Minnesota gets three LHP in their seven games (@ATH, vs. TEX), and Larnach is basically worthless against them (.159/.178/.205, .171 wOBA, 29% K%).

Gavin Lux, CIN, 2B/OF (Yahoo: 15%, ESPN: 13%) - Am I including Lux just to make a joke about how once again he fooled a bunch of fantasy players by being good for two weeks before sinking right back into irrelevancy -- IE. Doing the "Lux"?
Well...Of course I did. But to be fair, he's been super-Luxy for over a month now, so it might be about time for 10 days of (relative) glory. The Dodgers have six games in Week 10 (vs. MIL, vs. ARI), and Lux won't have to face any of his fellow lefties.

Agustin Ramirez, MIA, C (Yahoo: 36%, ESPN: 19%) - He's been our Best Choice for weeks now, but Ramirez remains criminally under-rostered. Surely, that won't last long, though, with Ramirez having another great period, currently the #47 hitter in Week 10. Miami has six games this week (vs. COL, @TB), with one LHP scheduled.
Ryan Jeffers, MIN, C (Yahoo: 16%, ESPN: 8%) - Jeffers hasn't done much this week (#275) but is set up for a big Week 10, getting seven games (@ATH, vs. TOR) and three left-handed starters. Over the last three seasons, Jeffers has a .371 woBAA and 22% K% vs. LHP.
Next Choices
Gabriel Moreno, ARI, C (Yahoo: 37%, ESPN: 38%) - Moreno remains on a relative heater, about to post his third-straight top 100(ish) week, currently the #87 hitter in Week 9. Arizona will face tough pitching in Week 10 (@ATL, @CIN) but also two LHP, against whom Moreno has a .355 wOBA and 18% K% since the start of 2023.
Tyler Stephenson, CIN, C (Yahoo: 31%, ESPN: 25%) - Stephenson has finally woken up in Week 9, currently posting a top-20 performance. He'll get six games to keep it going at home (vs. MIL, vs. ARI), but unfortunately, there aren't any left-handed starters on the schedule.
Desperate Choices
Francisco Alvarez, NYM, C (Yahoo: 19%, ESPN: 13%) - Alvarez has been an utter dumpster fire in 2025, but if you're desperate for a backstop, why not pick the one getting three games in Colorado?
Edgar Quero, CHW, C (Yahoo: 1%, ESPN: 1%) - If there's ever a time when you want to take a chance on this subpar White Sox catcher, it's probably best to do so in a week when he's scheduled to face three LHP in seven games (vs. DET, vs. KC). In 41 PA vs. LHP this season, Quero has a .371 wOBA, with a 45% Hard Hit% and 17% K%. That .419 BABIP?
Nah, don't worry about that little guy.
