Marquis Grissom Jr. Moving Up To Triple-A
Marquis Grissom Jr. was promoted to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday after recording a 1.85 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and five saves at Double-A Harrisburg in nine appearances. The Nats' 23rd-ranked prospect moved into their top 30 after he pitched well last season, recording a 2.21 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts over 53 innings pitched between High-A and Double-A. With a strong showing at Triple-A, it wouldn't be surprising to see them give the 23-year-old a shot in the majors this season with Washington's bullpen performing so poorly. Kyle Finnegan is locked in as the team's closer, though, so it would probably be in a middle-relief role, which wouldn't hold much value for fantasy.
