Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks
Some of the top names include Kyle Monangai, Mike Evans, Bam Knight, Alec Pierce, Devaughn Vele, and more. We recap why these players rostered under 55% in Yahoo! leagues should be on your waiver wire radar for Week 14.
Kyle Monangai, RB, Chicago Bears
Week 14 Waiver Wire Rankings: 4
Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai continues to prove that he deserves more run next to D'Andre Swift in the team's backfield. In the Bears' 24-15 win over the hosting Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, Monangai dominated on the ground and led the team with 22 rushing attempts for 130 yards and a touchdown.
The 23-year-old was unable to haul in his only target in the passing game. The only other time that the seventh-rounder had 20-plus carries in 2025 was back on Nov. 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals when Swift was sidelined due to injury. Swift was no slouch on Friday, either, rushing 18 times for 125 yards and a TD of his own.
Monangai's fantasy stock is definitely on the rise, but the volume he saw on Friday should be considered an outlier. He'll be more of a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex going into a tough Week 14 matchup against the division-rival Green Bay Packers.
Mik Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 14 Waiver Wire Rankings: 3
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (collarbone) is trending in the right direction after suffering a broken collarbone in Week 7 against the Lions and could return in Week 14 against the New Orleans Saints, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Head coach Todd Bowles said that he expects the veteran wideout to be back before the end of the regular season, and could have his practice window opened as soon as next week. Rapoport added that a better determination of Evans' status will be based on medical scans that will come in the next few days.
It was initially reported that Evans would be expected to miss the remainder of the regular season, but he's made great progress in his recovery and is on track to return before the season concludes. Evans should re-assume his role as Tampa Bay's No. 1 option upon returning and should be a priority add and stash if he is available on waiver wires.
Bam Knight, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Week 14 Waiver Wire Rankings: 5
Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight had 11 carries for 62 yards in Sunday's crushing 20-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Knight also had three catches for 36 yards with a receiving touchdown on three targets. The 24-year-old put together his best performance of the season by earning season highs in rushing yards, yards per carry, receiving yards, and his first receiving touchdown this season.
Knight's performance came after being a limited participant in practice every day this week due to a knee issue. Despite having his best game this season, Knight's role in the offense will be cloudy heading into Week 14, with the potential of Trey Benson (knee) returning from injured reserve looming.
Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts
Week 14 Waiver Wire Rankings: 18
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce collected four catches for 78 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans. Pierce led the Colts in receiving and had an impressive contested touchdown grab in the corner of the end zone for the Colts' first touchdown of the day, but it was an otherwise tough day offensively against an elite Houston defense.
The 25-year-old has had a breakout season in his fourth year, totaling 33 receptions for 689 yards and two touchdowns on 59 targets in 10 games this season. For the second straight season, Pierce is currently leading the league in yards per reception, averaging 20.9 in 2025. In a crowded Colts pass-catcher room, Pierce has emerged as a reliable fantasy option and projects favorably again in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Devaughn Vele, WR, New Orleans Saints
Week 14 Waiver Wire Rankings: 23
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devaughn Vele had a breakout game in Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins, recording eight catches for 93 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. New Orleans acquired Vele from the Denver Broncos before the start of the 2025 season.
He spent most of the early portion of the year buried on the team's depth chart, recording just five targets over his first six games. However, New Orleans traded away wideout Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline and released veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks in late November. In recent weeks, Vele appears to be ascending into his team's WR2 role alongside Chris Olave.
He's now recorded 23 targets over his last five games, including consecutive weeks with at least seven targets. Given his emergent role in New Orleans, Vele could be worth a look on the waiver wire in deeper fantasy leagues heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
