Injury Status: Healthy
Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. is trending up in fantasy football after an impressive Week 7 performance. Fannin made an enormous impact as a rookie last year, and although he started this season strong, he cooled off in Weeks 5 and 6. Now, he's back on track after catching six of nine targets for 91 yards last Sunday. The Browns have plenty of solid weapons on offense, but Fannin seems to have solidified himself as one of quarterback Deshaun Watson's preferred targets, especially after Week 7. Plus, although his productivity briefly dipped, his usage was never affected; he has played at least 82% of the snaps in every game this season. Fannin is firmly entrenched as a low-end TE1 with additional upside. He'll look to remain productive, starting with Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his last outing against Pittsburgh, Fannin tallied 27 yards and a touchdown.

Harold Fannin Jr. 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Will Monken-Led Offense Make Strides in Efficiency to Offset Added Competition for Targets?
After a hyper-productive final collegiate season at Bowling Green, Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. wasted no time putting up counting stats in his rookie season as a pro, either. Fannin Jr. led the Browns' passing attack in receptions (72), targets (107), receiving yards (731), and tied Quinshon Judkins (ankle) for the team lead in scrimmage touchdowns (read more...
After a hyper-productive final collegiate season at Bowling Green, Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. wasted no time putting up counting stats in his rookie season as a pro, either. Fannin Jr. led the Browns' passing attack in receptions (72), targets (107), receiving yards (731), and tied Quinshon Judkins (ankle) for the team lead in scrimmage touchdowns (seven). The 6'4" tight end became a security blanket for the team's revolving door of quarterbacks around the line of scrimmage with a low average depth of target (6.0 aDOT). With a new head coach in Todd Monken and a scoring unit that added left tackle Spencer Fano, plus wide receivers Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion, in April's NFL Draft. There is optimism that the Browns' offense could be dramatically improved in 2026. That would help offset the obvious drawback of added competition for targets from Concepcion and Boston. Notably, the team let tight end David Njoku walk in free agency, and Njoku led the team in red-zone target share (20.5%). Fannin could see more work in the red zone for an offense that scores at a greater clip due to its improvements. Fannin is currently Rotoballer's 81st-ranked overall player in addition to his TE5 slot in terms of positional standing, which means his mid-sixth-round Sleeper ADP might be a tough sell. Reasons for optimism about the second-year player's talent and scoring role are definitely valid. Still, in redraft formats, he's ultimately at the mercy of how productive Deshaun Watson can be in Monken's run-first system after winning the starting job.
