Injury Status: Healthy
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange serves as a borderline TE1 in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens rank 19th against tight ends in fantasy, and the game overall should be high scoring for the Jaguars. The young tight end hasn't quite had a breakout performance in what has been an interesting season for the Jacksonville passing attack. The rushing attack and defense were the main reasons for their 42-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts last week, which led to Strange finishing with just two catches for 55 yards. Funnily enough, that tied with running back Bhayshul Tuten for top on the team. In what could be a second straight blowout against the Lamar Jackson-less Ravens, the team's passing stats may look similar. Strange has surprisingly only found the end zone once all season, which came back in Week 1, which is another concern. However, in a plus matchup on a potent offense facing a vulnerable defense, Strange has enough upside to be on the streaming radar in Week 9.

Brenton Strange 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Mid-Round TE Intriguing After Strong Second Half
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange turned a 12-game season into 46 catches on 60 targets for 540 yards and three touchdowns. Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange turned a 12-game season into 46 catches on 60 targets for 540 yards and three touchdowns. He routinely ran snap counts of 75% or higher, but his early, pre-injury volume yielded zero touchdowns in those first five games. In fact, he didn't even see a single red-zone target! However, he had 11 RZ looks from Week 12 on, which led the team and made him the half-PPR TE8. That late trend and the overall upward trajectory for Jacksonville's offense make him a reasonable breakout target for those who want to wait at the position. But the strong WR corps cannot be ignored, and it contributed to his lower 64.2% route participation rate (compared to most of the TEs drafted earlier). Even though the 1.89 yards per route run is strong, volume often rules the day. His half-PPR ADP of 140 (TE18) and RotoBaller rank of 149 balance that ceiling proposition with the fact that you're speculating on an unproven half-season on an offense with four playmakers at wide receiver.less...
