Xander Schauffele Making Second Appearance at Phoenix Open
Xander Schauffele played well at last week's Farmers Insurance Open but disappointingly missed the cut. Schauffele is set to make his second appearance of the 2026 season at this week's Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, Arizona. Schauffele skipped last year's edition and the 2024 edition but has played well here in the past. He finished tied for 10th in 2023 and tied for third in 2022. Over the past 12 months, Schauffele ranks in the 95th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is important because, last year at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, over 40% of approach shots came from this distance.
