Taysom Hill Could Serve as Saints Backup Quarterback
Taysom Hill has "been taking reps" at quarterback and is "definitely available to be a backup quarterback" to Saints starter Spencer Rattler. Hill famously played quarterback in college and started nine games under center for New Orleans across the 2020 and 2021 seasons. The 35-year-old completed a 19-yard pass in Week 5, his first game of 2025 after being activated off the physically unable to perform list. Hill is officially third on the Saints quarterback depth chart behind Rattler and rookie Tyler Shough. Most likely, Hill will see most of his touches as a rusher and receiver in a gadget role. Still, any significant playing time at quarterback would make Hill a must-start player in fantasy, as he would likely still be eligible at the tight end position in most league formats.
