New England Patriots linebacker Jahlani Tavai (shoulder) has returned to the Super Bowl. Tavai made a brief exit earlier in the second quarter witha shoulder injury. However, Mike Reiss of ESPN reported that the 39-year-old has been cleared to return to action. During the regular season, Tavai logged 42 tackles and is expected to remain in a rotational role this evening.--Andy Smith
