Harris English in Solid Form Heading to Waste Management Phoenix Open
Harris English secured a T22 finish at last week's Farmers Insurance Open, which followed a T27 finish the week prior at the American Express. English was excellent on approach last week, gaining 1.68 strokes, and will need to replicate that form to have a shot at competing at this week's Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, Arizona. English skipped last year's tournament but finished tied for 17th in 2024. Over the past 12 months, English ranks in the 85th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is important because, last year at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, over 40% of approach shots came from this distance.
