Dynasty Fantasy Football Player Outlooks
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London caught 68 passes for 919 yards and seven touchdowns across 12 games last season. He missed five games with a knee injury, but had elite usage, as he had 21.5% of the team's targets, averaged 2.52 yards per route run, and averaged around 16 fantasy points per week.
The 24-year-old signed a four-year $141 million extension with the Falcons this offseason. London will be under a new head coach in Kevin Stefanski, OC Tommy Reese, and a new starting quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa while Michael Penix Jr. (knee) continues to recover from an ACL tear. Despite being in a new offensive system, the Falcons' offense will revolve around running back Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and London again in 2026.
It will be the third time in his five-year career that London will be under a new offense, but fantasy managers can expect another solid season from London due to his high usage. RotoBaller is on board with London having a top-10 season, and projects 93 catches for 1,193 yards and seven touchdowns, making him a mid-second-round pick in upcoming fantasy football drafts. His dynasty value is still hanging near the top-10 as well.
Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
Before a knee injury ended his 2025 campaign, New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson was the WR5 through the first five weeks of the season. Heading into 2026 healthy and in what looks to be an uptrending offense, Wilson has the potential to volume his way to a top 10 finish over a full season.
The Jets spent first-round picks on tight end Kenyon Sadiq and wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr., moves that could help elevate the offense as a whole without adding insurmountable competition for Wilson's targets. In his first full season with the team, Adonai Mitchell looks to handle WR2 responsibilities, though his game has been predicted more on big plays than volume, and in Frank Reich's mesh-heavy offense, Wilson should be given ample opportunity to work with the ball in space.
New York traded for quarterback Geno Smith, who now faces allegations of battery but has not been charged, so while his legal situation warrants monitoring, he still represents an upgrade at the position. In a best-case scenario, Wilson's ceiling is as high as nearly any receiver currently being drafted near the end of the first two rounds, and at RotoBaller's dynasty WR13, he's one of the last players that drafters should feel comfortable enough to make their WR1 if they invested in RB/TE first.
Carnell Tate, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate is entering his first NFL season with plenty of hype after being selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Tate was one of the better big-play threats in college football last season, recording 51 catches for 875 yards and nine touchdowns across 11 games at Ohio State.
In Tennessee, he should have an opportunity to immediately emerge as the team's number one wide receiver on the outside. While the Titans have a pair of solid veteran wideouts in Wan'Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley and some intriguing youngsters in Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor, Tate is clearly the highest-upside pass-catcher on the roster.
Tennessee's overall offensive environment remains an open question, as Tate's fantasy value is tied to the development of Titans quarterback Cam Ward. Still, Tate landed in an ideal spot for immediate production in Tennessee and enters 2026 as RotoBaller's dynasty WR14.
David Montgomery, Houston Texans
The Houston Texans acquired veteran running back David Montgomery from the Detroit Lions in an offseason trade, and he's set to be the lead RB this year in Houston. The Texans ran the ball 387 times a year ago, but they just weren't very effective after not having Joe Mixon (foot) for the entire season.
Monty has already been receiving "rave reviews" from offensive coordinator Nick Caley, and the Texans think that Montgomery could be a "potential three-down back" in 2026 as they look to create more physicality in their running game, according to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network. Woody Marks took over lead-back duties for the team a year ago in his rookie season out of necessity, and he's not guaranteed to have a big role in his second season as long as Montgomery stays healthy.
A lot depends on the progress of Houston's offensive line and quarterback C.J. Stroud's ability to bounce back after several disappointing seasons. If those two things align, Monty could emerge as a solid RB2 for fantasy managers after seeing his role decline in 2025 in his final year in Detroit. He's an intriguing option for dynasty managers ready to immediately contend, or who need a bridge RB as others develop.
Fernando Mendoza, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza enjoyed a stellar final collegiate season at Indiana, tallying 3,535 passing yards, 48 total touchdowns, and just six interceptions en route to a Heisman Trophy Award, undefeated season, and College Football National Championship. He was the clear-cut No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, but his fantasy floor and ceiling are question marks in Year 1 as a pro.
For one, Mendoza is a tactical scrambler, but he's unlikely to make a big impact on the ground at the next level. Without offering much rushing upside, he'll need to be a prolific and efficient passer to be a starter in Single-QB formats, which would be a surprise in 2026 with a wide receiver room consisting of Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, Jalen Nailor, and Dont'e Thornton Jr. Tight end Brock Bowers is fantastic, but there isn't much to be excited about among pass-catchers otherwise in Las Vegas.
Combine the worst wide receiver room in the NFL with a typical rookie learning curve, and it's tough to imagine consistent fantasy success for Mendoza right away. He could also sit out a significant amount of his rookie season behind Kirk Cousins. All in all, he's a fine but not ideal QB2 option in Superflex leagues, but he's best left for the waiver wire in most 1QB setups. In dynasty setups, his value is much stronger, and hopefully, the Raiders will surround him with talent in the years to come.
