FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (6/11/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

We've got a two-game playoff slate for Friday. The 76ers and Hawks start at 7:30 pm ET while the Suns and Nuggets tip-off at 10:00 pm ET. PHI and ATL are tied at one apiece in their series while the Suns took care of home court and are up 2-0. PHI is favored by 1.5 points and the O/U in that game is 225. DEN is favored by 2 points and the O/U is 223.5.

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/11/21. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Keep an eye on Rotoballer’s injury news to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Trae Young, PG - vs. PHI ($9,700)

The defensive adjustments worked well for the 76ers on Trae in Game 2, as he shot 6-for-16 from the field and 1-for-7 from downtown. Ben Simmons definitely smothered him. He still dished out 11 assists and scored 21 points, good for 40.1 FD points. The usage rate was 28%. I figure the Hawks will adjust to that adjustment and put Simmons into more pick-and-roll action. In addition, Trae does shoot better at home than on the road: 44% vs 42%.

Monte Morris, PG - vs. PHO ($5,000)

Morris has been terrible the last two games, shooting 14% and 10% from the field. He's also played 22 and 23 minutes. During the season, he shot 46%. His offense is going to be needed as the Nuggets got smoked in the first two games. Facundo Campazzo is the exact same price and probably has a higher floor due to the assists and steals, but I like Morris to have a big offensive game in this one.

Devin Booker, SG - at DEN ($8,200)

Booker only put up 34 and 35.8 FD points in the first two games because he wasn't really needed, as the Suns stomped the Nuggets. I expect Denver to come out with gusto in Game 3 on their home floor, so Booker should see the usage rate increase from the 23% he's seen to somewhere in the low to mid 30% range. He has 60-FD point upside.

Kevin Huerter, SG - vs. PHI ($5,300)

Huerter has played 35 and 28 minutes in the first two games of this series. The usage rate was 18% and 15% and he put up 27.4 and 29 FD points. The points will rarely be voluminous but he does contribute a little something in every category which provides a relatively high floor. Could he score in the teens? That is well within the range of outcomes but he's one of the safer options for "value." Seth Curry is points dependent and he's shooting at an unsustainable clip right now while Will Barton just returned from injury and won't get the minutes.

Also consider: Chris Paul ($8,200), Facundo Campazzo ($5,000), Bogdan Bogdanovic ($6,800), Seth Curry ($5,500)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Mikal Bridges, SF - at DEN ($6,100)

Bridges scored 18.4 FD points last game with 16 points and two rebounds. That was an outlier game because he usually chips in blocks, steals, and assists. It is good to see him with the offensive game, though. In Game 1, he went for 23 points, five rebounds, five assists, one block, and two steals, which translated to 44.5 FD points. One floor and one ceiling game. We should expect something in the middle.

Danilo Gallinari, SF - vs. PHI ($5,400)

The small forward pool is gross today so Bridges and Gallinari it is. In Game 2, Gallinari put up 34.8 FD points, as he played 26 minutes and scored 21 points with nine rebounds and two assists. His ability to shoot from downtown and post up smaller defenders was huge. He played 17 minutes in Game 1 but I expect him to play in the mid-20s like in Game 2.

Tobias Harris, PF - at ATL ($8,800)

Harris has scored 39.2 and 42.5 FD points in the first two games of this series. The usage rate has been 26% and 20%. He's scored at least 20 points in five straight games, with four of those converting at least 50% of the attempts. In these playoffs, he's gone for at least 40 FD points in five of seven games with a high of 59.8. More of the same should be expected today.

Jae Crowder, PF - at DEN ($5,500)

The shooting efficiency can be rough at times but Crowder plays a ton of minutes and contributes a little something in every category. When he's hot from the field, he can access ceiling games like the 35.6 and 40.4 FD point games he put up against the Lakers. He also went for 12 FD points so the floor is low. In the two games against the Nuggets, he's gone for 23 and 21.5 FD points.

Also consider: Danny Green ($5,000), JaMychal Green ($4,200)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid, C - at ATL ($11,000)

Embiid is questionable as he's been playing with a torn meniscus. That said, he's gone for 64.6 and 63.8 FD points in the last two games so I'm not too worried about his availability. Embiid is a true unicorn as he's a seven-footer who can score from all three levels and control the paint and glass at both ends of the court. The Hawks have no answer for him.

Nikola Jokic, C - vs. PHO ($10,600)

There are no value options at center that I'm comfortable with so Jokic it is. It's an interesting choice between him and Embiid, as they both have the same ceiling. That said, Embiid has been more productive as of late. Jokic can triple-double on any given night and he's going to have to play like the MVP if the Nuggets are going to make a series of this. During the regular season, Jokic had a high of 88.6 FD points. During the playoffs, Jokic has two games under 30 FD points but five games over 50 with a high of 77.7 FD points. That's the guy we want to see.
