Brendan Allen extended his win streak by defeating Edmen Shahbazyan via unanimous decision in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 118 on Saturday. The first round was close, but it was Allen who landed more impactful punches, plus he attacked with a flurry late in the round, sealing it in his favor. Both fighters fought well in the second round as Shahbazyan started opening up while Allen kept on pressuring his opponent. In the end, the judges scored the fight 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 in favor of Allen. In 15 minutes of action, Allen landed a takedown and 89 significant strikes. After the fight, Allen asked for a rematch with Sean Strickland. With the win, Allen improved to 15-4 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
