Fantasy football cut list rankings for Week 4 of 2025. The top fantasy football players to drop and cut from rosters, prioritized for various league sizes.
Welcome to our fantasy football Cut List Rankings for Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. With Week 3 of the fantasy football season in the books, it is time to turn our attention to the waiver wire. If your fantasy football team remains without a win, it may be time to cut some of your disappointing players in the hope of kick-starting your team.
In Week 3, managers saw many high-end players suffer a significant injury, such as James Conner (ankle) and Najee Harris (Achilles), and as a result, they sit in the top spots on the cut list. And while injured players are always options to drop from rosters, fantasy managers are often faced with tougher decisions as well, especially as their rosters accumulate injured players and less bench space.
So which injured or disappointing players is it time time get rid of for fantasy football lineups? Read about our top players to cut for Week 4 of the NFL season. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Fantasy Football Drop Candidates
Read the recent news and fantasy outlooks of some of the top cut candidates:
Russell Wilson, QB, New York Giants
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 8
New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson completed 18 of 32 pass attempts for 160 yards, tossing two interceptions in his team's 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Wilson cooked the Cowboys for a tremendous 450 yards and three TDs in Week 2, but struggled to get anything going against a much more formidable defense. It's encouraging to see the veteran utilize his legs, even if he isn't as spry as he once was, as even 20 rushing yards a week will modestly raise his fantasy floor.
Unfortunately, owners will be subject to clunkers such as this one, but New York is a pass-friendly environment as of now, with the team airing it out at the sixth-highest rate (62.23%). Wilson is more of a mid-back-end streaming option in the right matchups. Next weekend's meeting with the staunch Chargers' defense doesn't project to be one of them.
Kyle Monangai, RB, Chicago Bears
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 13
Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai had a quiet statistical game in his team's Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys, finishing with 20 yards from scrimmage on seven total touches. Bears RB1 D'Andre Swift still appears to have a strong hold on the backfield touches in Chicago, as Swift finished with 78 yards from scrimmage on 16 total touches.
Neither Bears running back is averaging four yards per carry so far this season, so Monangai could work his way into a larger workload if he can improve his production over the course of the season. However, given his current role, the rookie is not worth holding in any 12-team formats.
James Conner, Arizona Cardinals
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 1
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (ankle) is officially set to miss the remainder of the 2025 season after suffering a severe ankle injury in Week 3. Conner is undergoing additional tests on Monday to determine the exact extent of the injury, but will definitely undergo surgery, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. The 30-year-old running back will finish 2025 with 133 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 40 total touches.
Cardinals second-year back Trey Benson should be in line for a major workload increase and profiles as the number one waiver-wire addition in all fantasy leagues where he is available heading into Week 4. Arizona running back Emari Demercado could also play a role as the team's passing-downs back and could have some deep-league fantasy appeal.
Najee Harris, Los Angeles Chargers
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 2
Los Angeles Chargers running back Najee Harris (Achilles) is officially out for the rest of the season due to a torn Achilles he suffered during Sunday's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Harris was lined up in the backfield when he suffered a non-contact Achilles injury in Week 3. He immediately went to the locker room and was ruled out.
With Harris sidelined, rookie first-round pick Omarion Hampton will step in as the team's clear-cut RB1 and immediately work his way into the top-20 running backs to start in Week 4. Hassan Haskins projects to step into the No. 2 role. It was a tough season for Harris, as he was slowed down by an eye injury over the summer and now this injury. At 27 years old, Harris remains a hold in dynasty formats, but can be dropped in redraft leagues.
Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 21
When asked about the team's ball security on Monday, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said the plan this week is to "practice the crap out of it." Running back Rhamondre Stevenson lost two crucial fumbles in the 21-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3 on Sunday, including one on the one-yard line in the third quarter. Stevenson has a history of ball-security issues, and it could cost him a key role in New England's backfield moving forward despite his big Week 2 performance.
The 27-year-old had only four carries for 18 yards and caught all three of his targets for 38 yards through the air against Pittsburgh. Rookie TreVeyon Henderson was unable to take advantage on Sunday against the Steelers, but he could be New England's lead back in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers. Stevenson will be a pretty risky RB3/flex who could be punished for putting the ball on the ground.
Even though his stock appears to be dropping for now, he should remain stashed in all formats heading into Week 4.
