Sandoval ranks as the 67th overall player in all of fantasy baseball over those previous two weeks. Sandoval has made two starts across this timeframe and has allowed just two earned runs. Those two starts include a combined 12 innings pitched with a whopping 17 strikeouts.
Sandoval makes for a solid addition as he has also started to tone down the walks. Across his previous three starts, Sandoval has walked just three batters. He has also allowed just two long balls on the season, which shows progress from a 2023 season in which he allowed a total of 12 dingers. While Sandoval is not likely to set the world on fire any time soon, he is worth a flier in deeper mixed leagues where acquiring pitching is always a difficult task.
