Dalvin Cook 2020 Outlook: Final Year In Minnesota?
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook had a breakout year in 2019. After tearing his ACL in Week 4 of his rookie season, the 24-year-old returned in 2018 but would again miss more time with a hamstring injury. However, after a few disappointing seasons, Cook would go on to thrive in 2019 and became one of the league's most elite backs by surpassing the 1,000-yard mark and rushing for 13 touchdowns. He was also featured in the team's passing game, and his 53 receptions off of 63 targets made him one of the most efficient PPR backs in the league. Now, the former Florida State Seminole will be entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2020 in hopes of cashing in under the umbrella of new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, with the veteran coach vowing to keep schemes similar to those of former offensive coordinator and new Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.
