Dennis Clausen

13836 articles

Dennis wasn’t always a hardcore fan of sports. Instead, he spent most of his time on the mat, focusing on Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. He was also involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. However, Dennis eventually began watching basketball and football, where he developed an obsession with his hometown Brooklyn Nets while rekindling his love for the Cincinnati Bengals, a team he enjoyed using in Madden in the early 90s. Since then, he started writing about fantasy sports before joining RotoBaller, where he’s been for nearly a decade, mostly writing NBA and NFL news. He loves playing DFS, especially NBA. Dennis is a member of the FSWA and has been competing in the King’s Classic, a fantasy league consisting of fantasy football writers from various websites, since 2019. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also loves video games, especially Madden, NBA2K, and Final Fantasy.

Mike Gesicki on the Streaming Radar Against Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki is coming off his best game of the 2025 campaign, catching all six targets for 86 yards. He also found the end zone for the first time this season. Naturally, his stock is much higher after that performance. It increased even more once Tee Higgins (concussion) was ruled out. […]

Samaje Perine Not a Safe Fantasy Option Against Baltimore

Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine had 14 attempts in the Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He also logged a season-high 33 offensive snaps. As a result, many assumed the 30-year-old would continue to have more of a role in the recent loss to the Buffalo Bills. However, that didn't happen, with Perine […]

Evan McPherson Should be More Involved in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson had a career-high six field goals in the Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens. However, his services weren't needed much in the recent loss to the Buffalo Bills, ending the day without an attempt. With that said, McPherson has been a top-10 fantasy kicker this season. While it's illogical […]

Andrei Iosivas Not a Lock to See More Attention in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas has only two touchdowns this season after finding the end zone six times in 2024. With Tee Higgins (concussion) sidelined heading into the Week 15 game versus Baltimore, Iosivas has gained more attention from fantasy managers in need of a streaming option. Higgins wasn't available in Week 13 against […]

Chase Brown Looking to Stay Productive After a Two-Touchdown Effort in Week 14

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown has played better in the final stretch of the 2025 campaign. He was much improved as a runner leading up to the Week 14 loss to the Bills, amassing at least 5.2 yards per carry in five of his previous six appearances. Although the 25-year-old struggled on the ground […]

Ja'Marr Chase Projected to See More Targets in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is having a down year compared to last. However, he still ranks among the top wideouts in the National Football League, which isn't much of surprise to anyone. The former LSU Tiger is coming off a rough showing in the Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills, catching only […]

Joe Burrow Aiming to Keep Bengals Slim Playoff Hopes Alive in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was having a fantastic showing in the Week 14 meeting with the Bills. Unfortunately, his solid day ended abruptly after he threw interceptions on back-to-back drives late in the fourth quarter, allowing Buffalo to erase a deficit and pick up the victory. Still, Burrow's day wasn't a complete flop, much […]

Tyler Warren Looking to Keep Colts in the Playoff Conversation in Week 15

Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren is only 13 games into his career at the professional level. However, he's already established himself as one of the top tight ends in the National Football League. The 2025 No. 14 overall pick has had a few rough showings, although he still ranks among the top names at […]

Alec Pierce Could Have Trouble Surpassing Fantasy Projections in Week 15

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (rib) practiced in full all week and doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's clash with the Seahawks. Pierce finished the 2024 campaign with seven touchdowns, a career-high. However, he has only scored twice this season. While the decline in trips to the end zone is a significant […]

Michael Pittman Jr. Has a Grim Outlook Against Seattle

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. had a down year in 2024. However, he's turned it around this season. In 13 appearances, the 28-year-old has 69 catches (94 targets) for 699 yards. While he could have a tough time surpassing his mark from the 2023 campaign (109 receptions), he has already amassed a career-high […]

Jonathan Taylor Facing a Tough Seahawks Defense in Week 15

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has had a stellar season. The 26-year-old leads the league in several rushing categories, including yards (1,356) and touchdowns (16). He also ranks second in attempts (247), two behind James Cook III (249). At this point, Taylor appears to be well on his way to having the best season […]

Joel Embiid Available Against Indiana

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will play on Friday night against Indiana. The 31-year-old has appeared in only nine games throughout the 2025 campaign. Outside of his routine absences, fantasy managers have also been frustrated by his career-low averages of 18.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 21.4% shooting from behind the arc. With that said, […]

Ja Morant Back on Friday Night

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (calf) will play on Friday versus Utah after missing the last 10 games because of a strained right calf. The 26-year-old hasn't had the best season, averaging 17.9 points and a career-low 16.7% shooting from behind the arc. Fortunately, he's at least amassed 7.6 assists and 1.0 steals to partially […]

Coby White Cleared for Action Versus Hornets

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (calf) is available for Friday's meeting with the Hornets. He missed the start of the 2025 campaign and has sat out sporadically since returning for the loss to the Utah Jazz on November 16. However, the extra time off due to the NBA Cup allowed White to get some much-needed […]

Tyrese Maxey Under the Weather on Friday

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (illness) won't play on Friday against Indiana. The 25-year-old is in the MVP conversation this season. Unfortunately, he'll miss his first game of the 2025 campaign on Friday due to an illness. His next chance to suit up will be on Sunday in Atlanta. In the meantime, Jared McCain or […]

Victor Wembanyama Expected to Return on Saturday

San Anthonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (calf) is expected to play in Saturday's NBA Cup meeting with the Thunder after missing the last 12 games due to a calf strain. The 2023 No. 1 overall pick was performing at an MVP-caliber level before going on the shelf, averaging 26.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists (all […]

Anthony Edwards Sidelined on Friday Evening

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (foot) won't play on Friday versus Golden State. The 2020 No. 1 overall pick had 40 points in Monday's loss to the Phoenix Suns. He'll now miss his fifth game of the 2025 campaign, which is almost the number of contests he was sidelined in the previous two seasons combined. […]

Devin Booker Won't Play Against OKC

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (groin) won't play on Wednesday versus Oklahoma City. The 29-year-old suffered a groin injury during the win over the Los Angeles Lakers on December 1 and is now in line to miss his third-straight contest. He was listed as questionable, meaning he could be nearing a return. For now, fantasy […]

Karl-Anthony Towns Back in Action Against Toronto

New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) will play on Tuesday against Toronto. KAT wasn't available for Sunday's win over the Orlando Magic, marking his first absence of the 2025 campaign. Despite appearing on the injury report and carrying a questionable designation, he'll be back on the floor for the NBA Cup meeting. In Towns' […]

Jamal Shead Available on Tuesday, Entering the Starting Lineup

Toronto Raptors guard Jamal Shead (quadriceps) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Knicks. He was listed on the injury report because of a quad contusion. However, the 23-year-old is available. Not only that, he will start in place of Immanuel Quickley (illness), who won't suit up for this one. Shead has averaged 5.8 points, […]

Immanuel Quickley Ruled Out on Tuesday Night

Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (illness) won't play in Tuesday's NBA Cup matchup versus the New York Knicks. He hasn't felt the best of late, although it didn't stop him from suiting up in Sunday's loss to the Boston Celtics. Unfortunately, the illness will now cost the 26-year-old his first game of the 2025 campaign. […]

Paolo Banchero Remaining on a Minutes Limit Tuesday

According to Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley, forward Paolo Banchero will remain on a minutes limit in Tuesday's NBA Cup meeting with the Miami Heat. The 23-year-old recently returned from a 10-game absence caused by a groin injury. Since then, he's played twice, totaling 44 minutes. It's possible he could see over 25 minutes, […]

Paul George Available on Sunday Evening

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George (knee) is available for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite missing plenty of time throughout the 2025 campaign, the veteran will now suit up for his second-straight appearance. He's coming off his best showing of the year, amassing 20 points in Friday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks. With […]

Joel Embiid Available Against Lakers

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will play on Sunday versus the Lakers. He was questionable on Saturday's edition of the Injury Report after missing Friday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks. However, the 2023 MVP was upgraded to probable on Sunday afternoon, so fantasy managers had a feeling he'd be good to go. Embiid has […]

Lauri Markkanen Ruled Out Versus OKC

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (illness) won't play on Sunday versus Oklahoma City. The 28-year-old has had an excellent 2025 campaign, averaging 27.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. However, like some of the other big names around the National Basketball Association, he's not feeling well. With Markkanen out for the first time this season, […]

Jimmy Butler III Officially Active on Sunday Night

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III (knee) will return from a two-game absence for Sunday's game in Chicago. The Dubs are still without Stephen Curry (quadriceps) and Draymond Green (foot). While their absences mean that others will be more involved offensively, Butler could lead the way on the scoring end. With that said, he […]

LeBron James Available Versus Philadelphia

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) will play on Sunday against Philadelphia. He didn't suit up for Friday's loss to the Boston Celtics, which isn't surprising, considering the Lakers were playing back-to-back contests. With that said, James is definitely showing signs of slowing down, with the 40-year-old averaging 14.0 points, 4.3 boards, and 7.8 […]

Karl-Anthony Towns Ruled Out Against Orlando

New York Knicks forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) won't play on Sunday against Orlando. Despite making sporadic appearances on the injury report, KAT hasn't missed a game. However, he experienced left calf tightness during the meeting with the Utah Jazz on Friday night, so the team will keep him out. Towns next chance to suit up […]

Draymond Green Remains on the Shelf Versus Chicago

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (foot) won't play on Sunday versus Chicago. He re-aggravated a right foot injury in Thursday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers and didn't suit up for Saturday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The NBA Cup will allow him to get some extra rest, so fantasy managers will need to wait […]

Jimmy Butler III Expected to Return on Sunday

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III (knee) is probable for Sunday's contest in Chicago. The veteran has missed the last two games. While it seemed he would return for Saturday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was ultimately ruled out. With Draymond Green (foot) and Stephen Curry (quadriceps) sidelined, Butler could be in line […]
