1847 articles

Dennis wasn’t always a hardcore fan of sports. Instead, he spent most of his time on the mat, focusing on Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. He was also involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. However, Dennis eventually began watching basketball and football, where he developed an obsession with his hometown Brooklyn Nets while rekindling his love for the Cincinnati Bengals, a team he enjoyed using in Madden in the early 90s. Since then, he started writing about fantasy sports before joining RotoBaller, where he’s been for nearly a decade, mostly writing NBA and NFL news. He loves playing DFS, especially NBA. Dennis is a member of the FSWA and has been competing in the King’s Classic, a fantasy league consisting of fantasy football writers from various websites, since 2019. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also loves video games, especially Madden, NBA2K, and Final Fantasy.

Jalen Suggs Won't Suit Up on Saturday

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (back) won't play on Saturday against Phoenix. The 24-year-old has been sidelined multiple times this season. However, since returning from an eight-game absence due to a knee injury, he's appeared in Orlando's previous 11 contests. Only time will tell if the back spasms will keep Suggs out beyond Saturday's contest, […]

Jaden Ivey Shut Down for at Least Two Weeks

Chicago Bulls guard Jaden Ivey (knee) will miss time. The former Piston is experiencing soreness in his left knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. He was acquired from Detroit ahead of the deadline. In Ivey's four games with the Bulls, he's averaged 11.5 points, 4.8 boards, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals. Considering his […]

Cedric Coward Out Versus Utah

Memphis Grizzlies guard Cedric Coward (knee) won't play on Friday versus Utah. The rookie has had a quality inaugural campaign, averaging 13.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. He also hasn't missed many games. Unfortunately, Coward will be sidelined for a second-straight contest due to a hyperextended right knee. His next chance to get back […]

Santi Aldama Sidelined Again on Friday

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Santi Aldama (knee) remains out for Friday's meeting with Utah. He has been battling a nagging knee injury, costing him the previous four games leading up to the All-Star break. It appears he might be back on Saturday in Miami. However, while Aldama is out of commission, Kyle Anderson will likely handle […]

Jusuf Nurkic Won't Face Memphis on Friday Night

Utah Jazz center Jusuf Nurkic (nose) won't play on Friday versus Memphis. The veteran is listed as out on the injury report due to injury management purposes, so he'll likely be back on Monday in Houston. In the meantime, Kyle Filipowski will presumably remain in the starting lineup. Filipowski is coming off a solid 15-point, […]

Keyonte George Not Ready to Return on Friday

Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George (ankle) remains out for Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The 22-year-old missed three games because of a left ankle injury at the beginning of February. While he returned for the matchup with the Orlando Magic on February 7, he tweaked his right ankle and will now miss his fourth-straight […]

Andrew Nembhard Not Listed on the Injury Report for Thursday

Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard (back) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Thursday's game against Washington. He's battled nagging injuries throughout the campaign, so he got the night off versus the Nets in Indiana's final contest leading up to the All-Star break. With Pascal Siakam (personal) and Ivica Zubac (ankle) ruled out, and […]

T.J. McConnell in Danger of Missing Another Game

Indiana Pacers guard T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is questionable for Thursday's game against Washington. He wasn't available versus the Nets in the Pacers' final contest before the All-Star break. Hopefully, the time off did him some good, although it's possible he may need another night off to recover from nagging hamstring soreness. With Pascal Siakam (personal) […]

Aaron Nesmith Questionable Versus the Wizards

Indiana Pacers guard/forward Aaron Nesmith (back) is questionable for Thursday's matchup with the Wizards. He didn't suit up for the meeting with the Nets ahead of the All-Star break because of a lumbar strain. While Nesmith has a shot at playing on Thursday, it's also realistic to assume he won't be back on the court […]

Pascal Siakam Won't Suit Up Against Washington

Indiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam (personal) won't play on Thursday against Washington. These clubs will meet again on Friday, so fantasy managers will need to wait and see if he'll be back for that one. The Pacers have a number of players listed on the injury report, specifically, T.J. McConnell (hamstring), Aaron Nesmith (back), Micah […]

Nicolas Claxton Sprains Ankle, Won't Play on Thursday

Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (ankle) won't play on Thursday versus Cleveland. He tweaked his ankle during practice on Wednesday, so it appears his absence might extend beyond Thursday's contest. While Claxton is sidelined, Day'Ron Sharpe will likely replace him in the starting lineup. Sharpe has averaged 13.8 points, 8.5 boards, 2.3 steals, and 1.3 […]

Joel Embiid Won't Play on Thursday Evening

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (shin) won't play on Thursday versus Atlanta. He reported soreness in his right shin during the All-Star break, so he'll miss at least one contest. However, the 31-year-old will be re-evaluated leading up to Philly's three-game road trip in New Orleans, Minnesota, and Indiana, meaning there is a chance he […]

Giannis Antetokounmpo Feeling "100 Percent"

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) stated he feels ready to play. "I feel good. I feel 100 percent," reported the two-time MVP while speaking to the media during All-Star festivities on Saturday. "I'm ready to go. I feel like I can play a game today." Antetokounmpo acknowledged that he still has some "boxes" to […]

Jalen Duren Probable Versus Charlotte

Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren (knee) is considered probable for Monday's clash with the Charlotte Hornets. He didn't suit up on Friday night in the 118-80 win over the New York Knicks. As a result, Isaiah Stewart got the start, finishing with 15 points. Paul Reed was also more involved than usual, amassing 12 points, […]

Franz Wagner Draws Questionable Tag for Monday Night

Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner (ankle) is questionable for Monday's meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks. He suffered a sprained left ankle during the loss to the New York Knicks on December 7. While Wagner appeared in two games in Mid-January, he wasn't well enough to return and has since missed the last nine contests. Assuming […]

Daniss Jenkins, Pistons Agree on a Two-Year Deal

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Detroit Pistons guard Daniss Jenkins agreed to a two-year deal with the club. The 24-year-old went undrafted in 2024 and has been operating on two-way contracts with Detroit ever since. He played sparingly as a rookie. However, it's been a different story this season, with Jenkins averaging 15.3 points, 6.7 […]

Cam Thomas Signing With Milwaukee

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, free-agent guard Cam Thomas agreed to a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. The 2021 No. 27 overall pick has spent his entire career in Brooklyn. While he hasn't had the best year, he's coming off a solid 2024 campaign, at least when he was available, averaging a career-high 24.0 points, […]

Domantas Sabonis Out Again on Saturday Night

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (back) won't play on Saturday against Cleveland. He missed a few months because of a knee injury. However, the veteran will sit out his second-straight contest due to back soreness. With the Kings not looking at a postseason berth, it's unknown how much action Sabonis will see for the remainder […]

Zach LaVine Won't Play on Saturday

Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine (finger) won't play on Saturday versus Cleveland. He was ruled out because of a sore finger, although he may just be simply sitting out the second of a back-to-back to rest. With Domantas Sabonis (back) and De'Andre Hunter (eye) also unavailable, DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrook are the favorites to […]

De'Andre Hunter Sidelined on Saturday

Sacramento Kings forward De'Andre Hunter (eye) won't play on Saturday against the Cavs, his former squad. The 28-year-old has appeared in only two games since being traded by Cleveland, so it didn't take him long to miss his first contest with the club. For now, fantasy managers will need to wait and see if he'll […]

Amen Thompson Available Versus OKC, Will Come Off the Bench

Houston Rockets guard Amen Thompson (illness) will play on Saturday versus OKC. He's not feeling the best. While the 23-year-old will at least be available, he'll come off the bench. It's unknown how much action Thompson will see against the champs. Although he's still a must-start in season-long fantasy setups, DFS managers may want to […]

Jakob Poeltl Questionable for Sunday Afternoon

Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against Indiana. The 30-year-old hasn't had a memorable 2025 campaign, averaging 9.7 points, 7.7 boards, and 0.5 blocks, all down from last season. He's also been battling a back injury, limiting him to just one appearance since mid-December. Poeltl's name was mentioned in trade […]

Onyeka Okongwu Still Out on Thursday

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Onyeka Okongwu (mouth) won't play on Thursday versus Utah, marking his fourth consecutive absence. He was listed as questionable throughout the day, so it looks like he might be back on Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets. In the meantime, Jock Landale could find himself in the starting lineup after recently being traded […]

Jaylen Brown Not Listed on the Injury Report for Friday

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (hamstring) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's showdown with the Heat. He had 33 points in Tuesday's 110-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks. However, Brown wasn't available for Wednesday's victory over Houston. Ron Harper Jr. took his spot in the rotation, finishing with 11 points and nine […]

Josh Hart Might Miss Another Game on Friday

New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (ankle) is questionable for Friday's matchup with Detroit. The veteran sprained his left ankle during a recent meeting with the Washington Wizards and wasn't available for Wednesday's double-overtime win over the Denver Nuggets. Jordan Clarkson entered the starting lineup, finishing with 11 points. If Hart remains on the shelf […]

Karl-Anthony Towns Questionable Versus Pistons

New York Knicks forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns (eye) is questionable for Friday's encounter with the Pistons. KAT suffered a laceration above his right eye during the double-overtime win over the Denver Nuggets. It forced him to briefly exit the contest, although he still finished with a 24-point, 12-rebound double-double. Considering the 30-year-old played through the injury […]

Joel Embiid Questionable for Thursday Night

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Lakers. As has been the norm, Embiid didn't suit up for Tuesday's 113-94 win over the Golden State Warriors, the second of back-to-back outings for the club. As expected, Andre Drummond got the start, finishing with 12 points, 12 boards, one steal, […]

Dylan Harper Ruled Out Versus OKC

San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper (ankle) won't play on Wednesday against OKC. The 19-year-old has a sore right ankle, so he'll miss his first contest in over two months. With Stephon Castle (adductor) a game-time decision, Keldon Johnson may see even more work after producing a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double in Sunday's 112-103 win over […]

Stephen Curry Remains Sidelined on Thursday

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (knee) won't play on Thursday versus Phoenix. He's dealing with a case of runner's knee and is considered day-to-day. However, with the All-Star break right around the corner, fantasy managers may not see him back on the floor for another week or two. While Curry is out of commission, […]

Jalen Green Questionable Against Golden State

Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green (hamstring) is questionable for Thursday's matchup with the Warriors. The former Rocket has appeared in only five contests this season, so his fantasy upside will be limited even if he manages to suit up. With Devin Booker (ankle) still on the shelf, Collin Gillespie, Grayson Allen, Mark Williams, and Dillon […]
