NFL DFS: FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 2 - Top Lineup Plays Include Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Cooper Kupp, Mark Andrews

Patrick Mahomes - Fantasy Football Rankings, DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Injury News

Top FanDuel daily fantasy football lineup picks for Week 2 DFS in 2024. Dennis' NFL DFS sleeper picks for building winning NFL DFS lineups on FanDuel in Week 2.

After an exciting Week 1, 14 games make up FanDuel’s main slate on Sunday. Regrettably, some clubs around the National Football League are already dealing with injuries, potentially opening the door for value opportunities for DFS participants.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 2 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel and the 2024 NFL season. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

Be sure to also check out our weekly DraftKings DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big!

Week 2 FanDuel Quarterbacks - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Patrick Mahomes – vs. CIN ($8,700)

Mahomes finds himself in familiar territory in Week 2, with the Bengals and Chiefs going at it for the sixth time since 2021. While the stakes aren’t as high as in previous years, the multi-time MVP will be motivated to take out the Bengals, a team that kept the Chiefs out of the Super Bowl in 2021.

With that in mind, Mahomes has played well against Cincinnati over the years. In four career regular-season contests against the Bengals, he has tossed for 1,085 yards, eight touchdowns, and one interception. Even better, the signal-caller completed 70% of his attempts during those games.

Baker Mayfield - at DET ($7,400)

Mayfield had four touchdowns in the victory over the Washington Commanders. With production like that, most assumed his rostering cost would significantly increase against the Lions.

That’s not the case, with the signal-caller available for a discounted price. The Buccaneers brought in Liam Coen this offseason to serve as the new offensive coordinator.

Things have worked out well so far, although many still have their doubts about Mayfield’s fantasy potential. Still, with a shootout expected between the Lions and Bucs, Mayfield has a higher ceiling than most.

Also Consider: C.J. Stroud ($8,200), Jared Goff ($7,800)

Week 2 FanDuel Running Backs - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Joe Mixon – vs. CHI ($8,100)

After a successful tenure in Cincinnati, Mixon found himself on the Texans this season. Most had written him off, believing his best days were behind him.

Yet, the former Oklahoma Sooner proved his doubters wrong, running for 159 yards and a touchdown off 30 carries in Week 1. It appears Mixon has some gas left in the tank, making him a practical DFS option on Sunday night versus the Bears.

Brian Robinson Jr. – vs. NYG ($6,200)

Robinson’s fantasy expectations weren’t as high entering the 2024-2025 campaign, with the Commanders signing Austin Ekeler to a two-year contract this offseason. Both men logged nearly the same number of snaps against the Buccaneers. However, Robinson got 10 more carries.

The 25-year-old should remain a pivotal component of the Commanders offense even with Ekeler in the equation. Keep him on the radar for the Week 2 showdown with the New York Giants.

Jordan Mason – at MIN ($5,500)

Unbeknown to fantasy managers until it was too late, Christian McCaffrey didn’t play on Monday night against the Jets. While McCaffrey has been a limited participant in recent practices, there’s a good chance he won’t be on the field versus the Minnesota Vikings.

If that’s the case, Mason will see a surge in attention from DFS managers, especially after ending Week 1 with 147 yards and a score off 28 carries.

Also Consider: Breece Hall ($8,500), Kyren Williams ($8,000), Isiah Pacheco ($7,400)

Week 2 FanDuel Wide Receivers - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Cooper Kupp - at ARI ($7,700)

Unfortunately, Puka Nacua has a knee injury. As a result, the wideout landed on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least the next four games.

Without Nacua in the mix, Kupp should serve as Matthew Stafford’s top receiving option in the NFC West showdown with the Arizona Cardinals. The 31-year-old is coming off a monster showing, bringing in 14 of his 21 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Lions in Week 1.

Chris Godwin - at DET ($7,700)

Mike Evans found the end zone twice in Week 1. However, Godwin also had a stellar outing, amassing a game-high eight grabs for 83 yards and a touchdown. After a down 2023-2024 campaign, the 2017 No. 84 overall pick could thrive this season.

Look for him to remain involved in an anticipated high-scoring affair with the Detroit Lions.

Rashee Rice – vs. CIN ($6,900)

Marquise Brown missed the opener against the Ravens due to a shoulder injury. Since then, Hollywood hasn’t returned to practice, so things aren’t looking promising regarding his availability for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Without question, rookie Xavier Worthy exceeded expectations versus Baltimore, scoring twice on the night. But Rice was easily Patrick Mahomes' favorite target, with the second-year receiver catching seven of his nine targets for 103 yards.

With that said, Rice has a positive outlook with or without Brown on the field in Week 2.

Also Consider: CeeDee Lamb ($9,000), Amon-Ra St. Brown ($9,000), Mike Evans ($8,000), Tank Dell ($6,100), Demarcus Robinson ($5,200)

Week 2 FanDuel Tight Ends - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Travis Kelce – vs. CIN ($7,400)

After a subpar 2023-2024 season, fantasy managers haven't completely dismissed Kelce heading into the year. He had a rough Week 1, catching three passes (four targets) for 34 yards.

Outings like that from the veteran were rare last season, considering he was targeted less than seven times in only three of his 15 regular-season appearances. DFS managers could easily see Kelce bounce back in Week 2 versus Cincinnati.

Mark Andrews – vs. LV ($6,800)

Isaiah Likely erupted for nine receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown in the "Thursday Night Football" loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. On the other hand, Andrews had only two catches.

There was talk about whether Andrews was fully healthy for the contest, especially since he was involved in a severe car accident just a few weeks before.

Although DFS managers shouldn’t rule out the chance of another solid showing from Likely, nobody should forget about Andrews’ fantasy potential versus the Raiders in Week 2.

Also Consider: Sam LaPorta ($7,900), Trey McBride ($6,200)
