Tommy Tremble Injury Update
Tremble didn’t play against the Saints because of a nagging hamstring issue. While there’s a chance he could return for Sunday’s matchup with the Chargers, it's very possible he won't be active.
If Tremble misses another one, Ja'Tavion Sanders and Jordan Matthews would take over. Sanders played twice as many snaps as Matthews in Week 1. Still, the duo combined for just two targets on the day, with their level of involvement not likely to increase if Tremble remains on the shelf.
David Njoku Injury Update
Njoku had four grabs for 44 yards in the loss to the Cowboys. He was also targeted five times. Unfortunately, the 28-year-old injured his ankle and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
Fantasy managers didn’t have to wait long to learn Njoku’s fate for Week 2, with head coach Kevin Stefanski already stating he won't play. Without Njoku, Jordan Akins is the favorite to climb the depth chart.

The Browns also bolstered the practice squad by adding Geoff Swaim, who could be elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s clash with the Jaguars.
But regardless of who fills in as the team’s tight end, fantasy managers should look in a different direction for a replacement for Njoku.
Jake Ferguson Injury Update
UPDATE: Ferguson has officially been ruled OUT for Week 2
Ferguson exited Week 1 with a knee injury. While things could have gone worse, he still suffered a bone bruise in his knee, which is often challenging for any player to come back from.
With that said, Ferguson is listed as doubtful for the Week 2 outing versus the New Orleans Saints.

It would likely take a miracle for the 25-year-old to suit up, so fantasy managers should expect Luke Schoonmaker to move to the top of the depth chart. Still, Schoonmaker isn’t a viable replacement in any fantasy format.
Brock Bowers Injury Update
Bowers was at risk of missing the Raiders’ opener against the Los Angeles Chargers because of a foot issue. However, he was on the field in Week 1, totaling a game-high six grabs for 58 yards.
The rookie popped up on the injury report once again throughout the week. Fortunately, he practiced in full all week and doesn’t carry an injury designation for Sunday’s meeting with the Ravens.
While the Raiders offense is hard to trust, fantasy managers can’t keep a guy coming off an eight-target game on the bench.
Foster Moreau Injury Update
Moreau had a stellar performance in the Saints Week 1 divisional clash with the Carolina Panthers, catching all four targets for 43 yards and a touchdown. Regrettably, he prematurely departed the game with a concussion.
The veteran managed to practice somewhat on Wednesday. But he was removed from the injury report after practicing fully on Thursday and Friday.
Without question, Moreau exceeded expectations against Carolina. However, the Cowboys offense poses more of a challenge, making Moreau a fantasy option only for those desperate to fill a hole in the starting lineup.
Noah Fant Injury Update
Fant began the week by logging a limited practice. But he logged full sessions on Thursday and Friday. As a result, Fant is off the injury report heading into the showdown with the New England Patriots.
With Pharaoh Brown already ruled out, Fant could spend more time on the field. Yet, he had only two catches in Week 1, meaning it’s unlikely he’ll find a spot in most fantasy lineups.
