ESL Pro League Season 14

Best of 3

  • BiG (EVEN) vs. Mousesports (-130)
  • EG (+160) vs. Fnatic (-200)
  • NaVi (-285) vs. FaZe (+200)

Captain Plays

S1mple: I'm bringing him back. He is too good not at this point. In his last matchup against FaZe, he had a +30 K/D differential with 52 kills. That was on LAN too where FaZe has shown they are better at. I would not be surprised to see NaVi come into this one and give them the smoke as I'm sure NaVi wants that first seed and s1mple is going to be on his A-game. During this tournament, he has a 1.43 K/D and is averaging an insane .93 KPR and a .65 DPR. Let's just say lock him in and let him do all the work.

Frozen: Mousesports looks to be finally clicking again. They have won their last two and I didn't expect them to take out Fnatic today. Mousesports needs to win this one to lock their position in the finals and they are on the outside looking in right now. Oddly enough it has been Frozen that has taken over during this tournament as ropz as regressed during this tournament. 8,200$ is also a nice pivot price from ropz at 9,200$. During this tournament frozen is averaging a 1.14 K/D with a .75 KPR and a .66 DPR. This was all with a rough start in their first two games against NaVi and FaZe. In his last two games, he had a +15 and a +18 K/D differential in their wins over Fnatic and EG. He is playing very well right now, and I'm gonna take the guy who is hot right now.

Other captain plays in order of preference: ropz, syrson(GPP), electronic, mezii, Brollan

Value Plays

Brollan: Yeah they messed up here, go ahead and lock it in. Brollan has played the best on the team by far and has been the most consistent. Today's game against mousesports was his worst performance and he was still the top fragger for his team. Besides today he went +11 against FaZe, Even against BiG, and +6 against NaVi in their first game in 2 months. He is also 5,400$. During this tournament, he has a 1.08 K/D with a .71 KPR and a .66 DPR. Plus he is playing the worst team in the group. Take advantage of it while he is that cheap.

B1T: I'm not sure I understand why he got a price decrease after his fantastic performance today. He has been clearly S1mple's 2nd guy lately and it showed today as he took over and 50/24 with a near 1.00 KPR. He has been in the mid 8k range all tournament long and is now sub 8k, it's quite surprising. He is quite a great pair with s1mple and/or electronic. During the tournament, he has had 1.07 K/D with a .67 KPR and a low .63 DPR. NaVi should win here against an inconsistent FaZe team and it will probably be a sweep as it has been for all of NaVi wins this tournament.

Other value plays in order of preference: Mezii, Jackinho, Perfecto, acoR, Dexter, BoomBl4

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Fnatic: Uhm, I think they got the prices or the teams switched up here. Fnatic is a -200 favorite here and EG has lost all 4 of their games so far. All of Fnatic is 7,400$ or cheaper with Brollan at a ridiculous 5,400$. I think we could see a sweep here but I think it's more likely a 3rd map ends up being involved. Brollan and Mezii are the top 2 options here and Brollan has been a Top 2 fragger in every single game in this tournament so far. They are still playing for a spot in the playoffs but the chances are slim. They still have a reason to play though and that's to say they didn't lose to the worst team in their group.

As for players, go ahead and lock in Brollan who is the best player on the team. After that Mezii would be the next best option. Krimz is way too high of a price for his production and inconsistencies so he's a fade for me. Jackinho and ALEX are pretty close in production but jackinho's price is much more intriguing and is in a better spot. So Brollan, Mezii, Jackinho, Alex, and Krimz would be the order of the players I like.

Other stacking options: NaVi, Mousesports, BiG

Note: Flamie is not playing in this tournament
