Zach's best MLB player prop bets for today (7/26/2025). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Eugenio Suarez, Ronald Acuna Jr., Willson Contreras, and Julio Rodriguez.
With the All-Star break behind us and the MLB Trade Deadline just ahead, Saturday is set to be another glorious summer day of action from the diamonds with all 30 MLB teams on the schedule and even a doubleheader giving us a bonus matchup and a total of 16 games on the slate. With so many options to choose from, there are plenty of home run props that make lots of sense from a wide variety of matchups across the board. In this post, we'll dive into the top spots I like for home runs this Saturday and find a few strong plays.
Many of the most homer-friendly stadiums are not on Saturday's schedule, but that doesn't mean there aren't some strong factors to track this Saturday. The weather looks like it will be warm with favorable home run winds in several locations to target. The game in Chicago is really the only one with real possibility of postponement, while the game in St. Louis should have very favorable home run weather as long as it stays dry. On the mound, a few aces will get the start and need to be avoided, but some very hittable starting pitchers are also in play, which are strong matchups to smash.
Below, you can check out four of my favorite home run props from MLB games on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Odds for each prop are from DraftKings Sportsbook and may change throughout the day. Remember to shop around at other sportsbooks for the best price, which gives you more value on your bets. It's also important to risk only a small portion of your bankroll on home run props since this market is extremely volatile. You can also combine these props with other picks into SGP or round robin plays that provide even more potential upside. I typically play a small unit size on home run props and round robins, but stacking them up creates the opportunity to cash in bigger if more than one player in this post goes yard.

MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (7/26/2025)
Here are all the hitters I'll cover for HR props on Saturday, July 26:
- Eugenio Suarez, Arizona Diamondbacks
- Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves
- Willson Contreras, St. Louis Cardinals
- Julio Rodriguez, Seattle Mariners
Eugenio Suarez OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+255 DraftKings Sportsbook)
Normally, I try to find longer odds than this, but the matchup and Suarez's form are strong enough that I'm willing to go "chalky" with this play since he looks like he's in such a good spot. Suarez is one of the biggest bats available at the trade deadline, with multiple teams interested in the slugging third baseman. However, the buzz hasn't distracted him from mashing or slowed down his home run pace at all.

Suarez is up to 36 homers on the season and could reach his career-high of 49, which he set in 2019 with the Reds, one of the teams in the market for him. He has five home runs in his seven games since the All-Star break, but he hasn't homered in his last three games.
He should be in a good matchup to get back on the board with a home run on Saturday against Andrew Heaney of the Pirates. Heaney has allowed 20 homers in his 20 starts this season, going 4-9 with a 5.03 ERA. Over his last five games, he has served up nine home runs in just 19 2/3 innings. Righties have hit 12 of the 20 homers against him and have a .324 wOBA.
Suarez is only hitting .183 against lefties this season, but his power on that side of the split is strong. He has 11 homers in just 93 at-bats against southpaws, so when he does get hits, they're usually very loud ones.
While there's a chance that he'll be traded before the game begins, if he's in the lineup and playing as usual, Suarez is in a great spot to continue to showcase his value by adding another homer to his total this Saturday in Pittsburgh.
Ronald Acuna Jr. OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+390 DraftKings Sportsbook)
The Braves continue to struggle in the standings, but Acuna has given their offense a huge boost in his 50 games since returning from last year's catastrophic knee injury. He has 13 homers in just 178 at-bats with a .320 batting average and .419 wOBA. He has a 52.1% hard-hit rate and 18.5% barrel rate, showing his power is fully back after his injury.
He has just one homer since the break, but he has four homers in his last 11 games and continues to make plenty of loud contact.

In his seven career games at Globe Life Field, Acun has three homers, and he'll look to add to that total on Saturday as he faces Rangers' starting pitcher Kumar Rocker. Rocker was excellent in his last start, but he allowed five homers in his four most recent games. Righties like Acuna have hit five of those nine home runs, even though lefties have more plate appearances against Rocker on the year. The young righty has allowed an 11.9% barrel rate and an average exit velocity over 90 miles per hour.
Acuna could get more rest days down the stretch as the Braves drop farther out of the playoff race, but when he's in the lineup, he always brings plenty of power potential, and even though Rocker has been pretty solid at home, I think there's some excellent value in Acuna's home run props on Saturday, since it has climbed to almost +400.
Willson Contreras OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+390 DraftKings Sportsbook)
In some of the best home run weather on the board, the Cardinals will take on Randy Vasquez and the Padres. While there could be some storms that cause a delay, postponement seems unlikely. If they play the game as expected, the weather is forecast to be hot, extremely humid, and breezy, with the wind blowing out to left field.
Contreras will look to take advantage of the spot, and he could be extra motivated to get revenge on the Padres after he was hit by a pitch by Friday and the benches cleared. Nick Pivetta came up and in on Contreras to spark the shouting match after Contreras started the series with a huge game, including this smash to center field.

— St. Louis Cardinals (@Cardinals) July 25, 2025
Contreras has 14 homers on the season for the Cardinals and has bounced back from his slow start. He's hitting .266 after going 2-for-2 on Friday. He has multiple hits in four of his last five games with five doubles and two home runs over that short stretch. In those five games, he has an eye-popping 86% hard-hit rate and an average exit velocity of 101.9 miles per hour. It's definitely a very small sample size, but Contreras is clearly extremely locked in at the plate right now.
Vasquez has been decent for the Padres this season, going 3-4 with a 3.73 ERA in his 99 innings, but he has also given up 13 homers on the season and doesn't typically pitch very deep into games. He has allowed five homers in his last seven starts, spanning just 35 2/3 innings. He has given up multiple barrels in all but two of those starts and a 10.3% barrel rate.
Contreras is too hot to ignore at this number and in this environment, especially if he comes in extra fired up after Friday's drama.

Julio Rodriguez OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+425 FanDuel Sportsbook)
Rodriguez has had a disappointing season overall, but he may be finding his groove just in time to help the Mariners push to a potential playoff spot. He has followed a similar arc in several of his seasons in Seattle, starting slowly but surging in the second half.
It’s the second half of the season and that only means one thing…
Julio Rodriguez is starting to heat up.

Rodriguez hit a pair of homers on Friday night in Anaheim, welcoming his new teammate Josh Naylor in style. Rodriguez's two blasts gave him 17 homers on the season. Seven of those blasts (41%) have come against lefties in just 26% of his plate appearances. He also has hit 14 of those 17 long balls on the road, where he has a .378 wOBA compared to just a .266 home wOBA.
Rodriguez and the Mariners will face Tyler Anderson in the final game on Saturday's slate, and it should be a favorable matchup for Julio, since he is 6-for-14 against Anderson in his career with a home run and six RBI. Anderson is 2-6 with a 4.43 ERA this season while allowing 18 homers in 20 games. Righties have 10 of those 18 homers and a .301 wOBA against him. This will be his third start against the Mariners this season, and he gave up three runs in each of his first two outings, resulting in one loss and one no-decision.
On Saturday night, Rodriguez will look to stay hot after hitting three homers in the first two games of the series. I love the matchup and value in playing Rodriguez at over +400 against Anderson to close out an awesome Saturday of baseball. Let's cap it off with a Julio home run!
