CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/7/24)

Mark Sears - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/7/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have 13 games on tap tonight, but DraftKings decided to leave the late game (USC and Cal) off the main slate and duplicate the 9 p.m. start time games onto the late slate. Why couldn't they just leave the late game on here? Why didn't they leave the Georgetown-Seton Hall game that starts at 6:30 on here? I know this is ultimately trivial, but things like that annoy me. Oh well, will still have a great main slate with 12 games, though it is one game shorter than it should be. We could have had eight games on the main and six on the night with no duplicates, but that would please us too much...

We begin with the Iron Bowl on the hard court in Auburn. LSU heads to Knoxville to take on the Vols. Wisconsin is in Ann Arbor to take on Michigan. Villanova heads to Cincinnati to take on Xavier. Pitt is in Raleigh to take on the Pack. Louisville heads to the Loud House to take on Syracuse. Creighton is in Providence to take on the Friars. Georgia is at The Hump facing the Bulldogs. A&M heads to Columbia to take on Missouri. Nebraska hits the road to Evanston. The Irish head to Cameron to take on Duke. We end in Palo Alto with UCLA in town.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/7/24, starting at 7 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Devin Carter, Providence ($9,000)

The loss of Bryce Hopkins has forced some Providence players to step up. Carter is one of those guys. He is showing why scouts are calling him a late first-round pick in the draft this year. Carter's 30.75 DraftKings points against Villanova this weekend were his fewest since the game against Brown on December 10. Quincy Olivari and Dalton Knecht have higher ceilings, but Carter's floor is far better than both of theirs. The ceiling on those guys isn't enough higher to move me off of Carter. He scored 46 DraftKings points at the Birdcage against Creighton in the first meeting.

Mark Sears, Alabama ($8,300)

Guard is tough today. I could make a case for using nine of the top 10 in price tonight. The current hot streak for Sears started in the upset of Auburn in Tuscaloosa where Sears wasn't efficient from the field, but the eight assists, five rebounds, and three steals helped push him to the right side of 40. Blowout wins over LSU and Mississippi State are the only things hindering Sears right now and he still hit at least 33 DraftKings points in both of those games. Sears's peripherals are outstanding right now to go with his 20+ points per night. He has scored over 20 in five straight and seven of the last eight games.

Michael O'Connell, North Carolina State ($5,600)

O'Connell was put into the starting lineup against Miami and played so well that he got another start against Georgia Tech on the weekend with similar results. In three games started this year, O'Connell has 24 points, 17 assists, 14 rebounds, eight steals, and a block. That is superb production in this price range. This is not a great matchup with Pitt, but much of O'Connell's production isn't tied to points. Even if he doesn't score a single point, the floor feels like 20 DraftKings points.

Benny Gealer, Stanford ($4,100)

This depends on the health of Kanaan Carlyle. Carlyle missed the game against Arizona this weekend. Even though Gealer was a dreadful 1-for-10 from the field, he still scored 22.75 DraftKings points thanks to nine assists, three rebounds, and a steal. Gealer has played solid bench minutes lately with pretty good results, but he's far too inconsistent to use if he doesn't start again.

Also consider: Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($9,100); Boo Buie, Northwestern ($8,900); Trey Alexander, Creighton ($8,500); Markus Burton, Notre Dame ($7,600); Lazar Stefanovic, UCLA ($6,900); Ryan Langborg, Northwestern ($6,300); Casey Morsell, North Carolina State ($6,200); Jeremy Roach, Duke ($5,900); Mark Armstrong, Villanova ($5,500); Denver Jones, Auburn ($5,100); Will McClendon, UCLA ($4,600); Dashawn Davis, Mississippi State ($3,800)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Johni Broome, Auburn ($9,300)

As good as Alabama is, they live and die by the three. They also don't have much of a post presence this year, and definitely not one that could handle Broome. Broome racked up 55.5 DraftKings points in just 26 minutes against Alabama in the first meeting. Broome ended up fouling out in that game, but that represents his normal minutes load anyway. There's no reason to think he won't dominate the Alabama interior again in this one.

Josh Oduro, Providence ($8,200)

Oduro has at least 34 DraftKings points in each of the last six games. The first meeting with Creighton was the first game for the Friars without Bryce Hopkins and Oduro struggled. He shot a miserable 4-for-17 from the floor and only hauled in three rebounds -- his lowest total of the year. Since then, Oduro has had at least eight rebounds in every game. Rebounds might be harder to come by against this Creighton front, but there is no way that Oduro shoots that poorly again. Most won't dig that deeply into Oduro's line from the first meeting. They'll just see the poor game and look the other way. I'm hoping for Oduro at low ownership tonight.

Tae Davis, Notre Dame ($5,000)

Davis hasn't been the most consistent player for the Irish this year, but he has had his moments. One of those was in the first meeting against Duke. Davis put up 20.75 DraftKings points in 27 minutes against them in the first meeting. We just saw North Carolina tear this interior apart. You can bet that Coach Shrewsbury and his staff were taking notes. Davis should be heavily involved in this one as well.

Mouhamed Dioubate, Alabama ($4,500)

Dioubate is an efficient scorer and tenacious rebounder in his limited minutes. He has started to get a few more minutes for the Tide when Mohamed Wague gets in foul trouble. Honestly, Dioubate has outplayed Wague in most games lately. Both are big risks, but the Tide are going to have to try something to slow down Broome. What they did the first time didn't work.

Also consider: Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8,600); Rienk Mast, Nebraska ($8,000); Jonas Aidoo, Tennessee ($7,900); Grant Nelson, Alabama ($7,000); Mark Mitchell, Duke ($6,800); Tarris Reed Jr., Michigan ($6,100); Jalen Reed, LSU ($5,400); Tobe Awaka, Tennessee ($3,900); Mohamed Wague, Alabama ($3,400)
