Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Naji Marshall (rest) will not play in his team's matchup with the Hornets this Thursday. Marshall has been carrying a heavy workload with all the injuries around him recently, and he has started 11 straight games, averaging 32.0 minutes and 19.8 points per game. The 28-year-old will get Thursday as a rest day, leaving more work for P.J. Washington against his former team and for rookie Cooper Flagg in his return after sitting out Wednesday's game, when Marshall had 18 points in 32 minutes in a loss to the Timberwolves.--Zach Thompson
