Seattle Kraken right wing Kaapo Kakko (upper body) is scheduled to see a specialist on Friday. He exited Wednesday's 4-1 preseason win against the Edmonton Oilers after getting slashed on the hand. Due to the injury, Kakko may not be ready for the start of the regular season. Kakko is set to begin his first full season with the Kraken, and his performance last year gives good reason for excitement. Following his arrival from New York in December, Kakko notched 30 points (10 goals, 20 assists) in 49 outings in Seattle.--Taavi Pailk
