Justin's wide receiver start 'em, sit 'em picks for fantasy football Week 10 lineups (2025). Read his expert WR start/sit advice for D.K. Metcalf, Jakobi Meyers, Jameson Williams, others.
We're now into the second half of the NFL season, and we're more than halfway through the fantasy season. In fact, the fantasy football playoffs are going to be here before you know it, with most leagues starting things up in Week 15. That means that if you're currently on the outside looking in of a playoff spot in your league, the time is now to make sure you get the wins you need down the stretch.
This is a tough week for some fantasy managers as two teams with elite wide receivers, the Cowboys and Bengals, are on a bye, as are the Chiefs, who have multiple fantasy-relevant wideouts. I guess the good news is that the fourth bye team, Tennessee, is a bit of a fantasy wasteland, so at least you don't have to worry too much about replacing the Titans in your lineup.
Below are my Week 10 WR start 'em, sit 'em picks. Which wide receivers are set to boom, and which should you be concerned about? Let's talk about it.

Week 10 Starts - Potential Fantasy Football Booms
Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions
Jameson Williams' usage this season has been frustrating, as he has just 36 targets through the first eight games of the season, which has played a big role in his yards per game dropping from 66.7 last year down to 44.4 this year.
Still, Williams has the ability to explode at the drop of a hat, and this week's game against the Washington Commanders offers a great opportunity for Williams to showcase the explosiveness that's been missing from his game in 2025.
Washington allows 7.7 net yards per pass attempt, the highest mark in the NFL. The back end of this defense is ripe for the picking, and Williams should be able to break off at least one huge gain this weekend, if not more.
D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears
The Bears were on the winning side of Week 9's most exciting game, a 47-42 thriller against the Bengals that produced a number of shockingly strong fantasy performances.
The primary players to take advantage of the Bengals' defense were tight end Colston Loveland and running back Kyle Monangai, but wide receiver D.J. Moore got in on the action as well, catching four of his six targets for 72 yards and rushing for a score as well. He surprisingly trailed Olamide Zaccheaus in targets, but had twice what Rome Odunze had, with Odunze also failing to catch any of his three targets. While Odunze led the Bears' receivers in snap rate, taking all 80 offensive snaps, Moore wasn't far behind, as he was on the field for 85 percent of the team's plays.

This marked the second week in a row that Moore had over 70 receiving yards. His volume is lower than I'd like, but he's trending up heading into this meeting with the Giants, who just got shredded by Mac Jones and the 49ers last weekend. Caleb Williams is set up for success this week, and that will trickle down to Moore.
Wan'Dale Robinson, New York Giants
After a quiet Week 8, Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson was back to being his normal, PPR beast self against the 49ers as he caught nine of his 11 targets for 46 yards.
Are you getting huge yardage totals from Robinson? Sometimes, but not routinely. However, his ability to string together short receptions is a big plus, as it really ups both his floor and ceiling in half-PPR and PPR formats.
This week, Robinson gets to go against that Bears defense that just got absolutely shredded by Joe Flacco in Week 9. While Jaxson Dart isn't going to approach 500 yards like Flacco almost did, he has a good chance to wind up with the first 300-yard performance of his NFL career. If that happens, Robinson will be the primary beneficiary, because...well, who else do the Giants have? Darius Slayton has been inconsistent, and beyond him it's like...Ray-Ray McCloud III? Yikes.
Week 10 Concerns - Potential Fantasy Football Busts
Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jakobi Meyers has two key things working against him this week.
First, there's the matchup. The Houston Texans have arguably the NFL's best defense, with the team yet to allow more than 20 points in a game this season. They've held their last six opponents to an average of 14.5 points per game.
Included in that span was Jacksonville's 17-10 win over the Texans earlier this season. The Jaguars managed a couple of touchdown runs in that one, but the pass game never got going, with Houston keeping Trevor Lawrence out of the end zone.
Some high praise for new Jaguars WR Jakobi Meyers from Liam Coen 🔥

That's the first reason to worry about Meyers. He's got a complete nightmare of a matchup. Safety Jalen Pitre and linebacker Christian Harris haven't practiced this week, but their absences wouldn't really change much.
The second issue for Meyers is that he's new to this team. Even with second-year receiver Brian Thomas Jr. ruled out with an ankle injury, there's no reason to think Meyers will see a full workload. He's too new to this team to go out there and be the No. 1 guy. He'll get snaps, but don't expect Meyers to get more targets than Parker Washington this weekend.
DeMario Douglas, New England Patriots
New England faces Tampa Bay this weekend, a team that has allowed the 11th-most passing yards per game in the NFL this season, and the Patriots are without Kayshon Boutte, who suffered a hamstring injury last week. Those two things might make you think this is a good spot to play DeMario Douglas. You'd be wrong.
See, Boutte missed most of last week's game against the Falcons, playing just 18 snaps before leaving the contest. Still, that was somehow more snaps than Douglas, who had a big game number-wise with four catches for 100 yards and a score, but played just 23.5 percent of the team's snaps.
Douglas had a good game last week, but I don't see that suddenly changing up the rotation in New England. With Boutte out last week, Douglas played just two more snaps than he did the previous week, and he's played over 30 percent of New England's snaps just twice this season.
If you want to take a shot on a non-Stefon Diggs receiver in New England this weekend, you're better off throwing a dart at Mack Hollins, though the safer thing would be to avoid New England receivers (other than Diggs) completely.
D.K. Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
D.K. Metcalf is coming off his worst game as a Steeler, catching just two passes for six yards against the Colts. He should improve on those numbers in Week 10 against the Chargers, but I'm not sure he improves by a ton.
I liked Lou's plan to limit DK Metcalf to 2 catches for 6 yards.
They played coverages that were pretty much Fangio's "Zeus".
It's a coverage that changes based on where DK lines up. If he's at #1 it's QQH with cloud to his side. If it he's at #2 or #3 it becomes quarters. pic.twitter.com/SqcAcvMWHs

That's because the Chargers have one of the NFL's best pass defenses, with the team allowing the third-fewest passing yards per game. Meanwhile, the Steelers' offense averages the 12th-fewest passing yards. This is set up to be a rough matchup for Pittsburgh.
Now, this isn't to say you can bench Metcalf in most formats. He's the WR20 overall on the year in half-PPR, and you probably have to start him in 12-team or deeper leagues, but you should temper your expectations. Metcalf is in danger of posting back-to-back bust weeks.
