Owen Caissie Recalled by Cubs

The Chicago Cubs have recalled outfielder Owen Caissie from Triple-A Iowa, optioning outfielder Kevin Alcantara in the corresponding move. One of the organization's top prospects, Caissie had a brief run with Chicago earlier this season and slashed .208/.240/.375 with one home run and four RBI in 25 plate appearances across 11 games. He's mashed in 433 plate appearances at Triple-A, hitting .286 with a .937 OPS and 22 home runs. Caissie may have a chance for more regular playing time this go around in Chicago, with outfielder Kyle Tucker (calf) currently on the 10-day injured list. Caissie is likely battling utility man Willi Castro for playing time in right field until Tucker returns.--Will Brady
