Dallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (hand) will not require surgery on his injured left hand, the team announced on Tuesday. He is expected to "heal from the injury" in approximately six weeks. Davis was previously expected to undergo surgery, which would have sidelined him for "several months." Still, it's possible Davis has played his final game as a Maverick, with trade rumors surrounding him. With Davis out, Daniel Gafford will continue to start at center, though he has also faced health issues in 2025-26. Moussa Cisse and Dwight Powell round out the remaining center options for Dallas.--Taavi Pailk
