DraftKings Evening CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (10/7/23)

Brock Bowers - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Rookies, Draft Sleepers, NCAA College Football, Prospects

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the evening slate on Saturday (10/7/23). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We have another action-packed prime-time slate for Week 6 of the 2023 season. There are only seven games on the docket but all of them are conference games. That should make for a very entertaining night!

We start in Athens with Kentucky coming to town. A half-hour later, Notre Dame heads to Louisville. Arkansas heads over to Oxford to take on Mississippi. Michigan is going for the Little Brown Jug in Minneapolis. 8 PM brings the Bees to South Beach. Tech heads down to Waco to take on Baylor. We end in Laramie with Fresno State climbing up to War Memorial Stadium.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/7/23, locking at 7 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Tyler Van Dyke, Miami ($8,500)

Tyler Van Dyke is putting up some big numbers in the new Miami offense. That's not going to change against Georgia Tech. They just allowed two quarterbacks who combined aren't as good as Van Dyke to come back on them in Atlanta and steal the win. We are seeing a different Tyler Van Dyke this year. It's the one from 2021. He has 10 touchdowns and no interceptions over the last three games.

Behren Morton, Texas Tech ($6,100)

Behren Morton may be the backup, but he is very familiar with the offense and has played well when called upon for the Red Raiders in the last couple of years. That's not going to change. Morton led the Red Raiders to a win over Houston last week after Tyler Shough departed with yet another injury. Yes, Shough is better. The cupboards aren't bare in Lubbock. Morton is a really good backup. In the age of the transfer portal, that doesn't happen often anymore.

Also consider: Sam Hartman, Notre Dame ($8,900); Blake Shapen, Baylor ($7,900); K.J. Jefferson, Arkansas ($7,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Audric Estime, Notre Dame ($8,100)

It has been rough going for the Irish in the last two weeks. Louisville's defense has also been good, but they are better against the pass than the run. Audric Estime should get a little reprieve after running into brick walls for the last two weeks. Estime was still solid in those two games. Expect output closer to the first three weeks in this one.

Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech ($5,600)

The Baylor run defense has been a big problem so far this year. Tahj Brooks has at least 12 DraftKings points in every game this season and Tech has played some really good defenses in Wyoming, Oregon, and West Virginia. Brooks should have a monster day against Baylor, especially since Tech is trying to simplify things for Morton.

Dawson Pendergrass, Baylor ($4,200)

The true freshman has worked his way into the Baylor offense lately. He has two touchdowns in the last three games and is even getting a couple of targets out of the backfield. If you need a value play, Dawson Pendergrass is a strong pick as Baylor seems to be getting him more involved every week.

Also consider: Quinshon Judkins, Mississippi ($6,400); Henry Parrish, Miami ($6,200); Harrison Waylee, Wyoming ($5,200); Darius Taylor, Minnesota ($4,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Tre Harris, Mississippi ($7,500)

Tre Harris returned from a two-game absence just in time to gash LSU for 153 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions. Harris has scored at least once in all three games that he has played in this season. Tulane held him under 100 yards, but he still scored in that game. Even on a team full of talented receivers, Harris has managed a lion's share of the targets. Pay up. He's going to have another big one against Arkansas tonight.

Brock Bowers, Georgia ($6,600)

Yes, he's a tight end, but he's also the focal point of the Georgia offense. Brock Bowers has 24 receptions for 332 yards and three touchdowns over the last three games. Fade at your own risk.

Andrew Armstrong, Arkansas ($5,800)

If the Hogs have any chance in this game, they are going to need another big game out of Andrew Armstrong. He has emerged as the favorite receiver of K.J. Jefferson, but that doesn't mean a lot this year. The Arkansas offense has struggled in part because of poor line play. That said, LSU torched Ole Miss just as badly as the Rebels torched them. This is a porous defense.

Monaray Baldwin, Baylor ($4,400)

This is going to be one of the very few times over the last two years that Shapen and Monaray Baldwin have taken the field together. In Shapen's return last week, Baldwin went nuclear in the largest comeback in school history against UCF. You could see this Baylor team change right in front of our eyes. Baldwin is in for another big game against Tech.

Also consider: Erik Brooks, Fresno State ($6,700); Xavier Restrepo, Miami ($6,100); Roman Wilson, Michigan ($6,000); Dominick Blaylock, Georgia Tech ($4,300); Ahmari Huggins-Bruce, Louisville ($4,000)

DraftKings CFB Stacks:

Miami

That Georgia Tech defense was just nuked by Bowling Green. This is not Urban Meyer's Bowling Green team. This isn't even Dave Clawson's Bowling Green team. This is closer to what the Falcons had under Mike Jinks. The stack should start with Van Dyke and Restrepo. Parrish is also a game-breaker. Jacolby George is a more affordable piece of the Hurricanes and has tallied a couple of big games so far.

Baylor

The Bears are starting to get healthy and are finally looking closer to a solid team. Shapen makes this team different and Monaray Baldwin is total electricity on a football field. Both Richard Reese and Pendergrass are solid options at running back, but I will likely opt for another Baylor receiver and run it back with Tahj Brooks instead of messing with the Baylor backs.

Also consider: Texas Tech, Mississippi
