Mike's ESPN College Football Pick'ems for Week 11 of 2025. His college football picks with confidence points -- expert upsets, targets, avoids, and predictions.
I'm setting new lows with my entries, but at least we have some entries keeping the group afloat overall. Littlemy led the group with 44 points last week. Only one other entry hit 40 points. Maybe my effort wasn't so terrible after all. chrismiller19 moved back into first place this week, with Ilene using the 40-point week to catapult into second with 376 points, just one point behind our leader.
Bullgator and JBTiger83 are tied for third place with 374 points. 10 more entries are in the 360-point range. 11 more are in the 350s. That means only 27 points separate the leader from 25th place. It's still tight at the top with a month to go!
Six more entries are within 30 points of first place, but there is a steeper dropoff in the group after that. It's going to be an exciting stretch run with 30 entries vying for the prizes given out by RotoBaller!

College Football Pick'em Overview
This article will be about the confidence game mode. You can also read my against-the-spread picks on RotoBaller every week for every game, so you know how I'm leaning toward that version of the game. Each week, I will recap who's dominating the group before I get into the picks. If you're going to beat everyone, all of the readers will know about it!
Let's get to the countdown! I will count them up from least confident (1) to most (10). You know, for dramatic effect. If I do change my pick or points sometime during the week, I will try to update the article or post it on X. Otherwise, you know all of my picks each week.

(1) Wake Forest over Virginia
The Pick Em pickers are way overweight on Virginia at 97%. I'm going to try to steal a point here. The Wahoos won a game last week by more than one score for the first time since September 20. Virginia knows how to win close games.
This was going to be a big game in the ACC until Wake got throttled in Tallahassee last week. Vegas still only has Virginia as a 6.5-point favorite at home. That's one wayward pass or fumble. I'll take a shot at gaining a lot of points on the field just in case Virginia wins.
(2) Oregon over Iowa

Iowa wasn't a great matchup for Oregon to begin with. Add in some wind, rain, freezing rain, and snow, and this the the worst possible situation for Oregon. Iowa is the more physical team. The weather will ground Oregon and make the team far less explosive.
This reminds me of the Wisconsin game last year. It was really cold, and Oregon really struggled before pulling it out late. Last year's Oregon squad was a better offensive team.
The good news for Oregon is that this Iowa offense is somehow worse than last year, and the Oregon defense is better. Expect a low-scoring game in frigid Iowa City, which overwhelmingly favors the Hawkeyes. I wouldn't be surprised if Iowa wins this.
(3) Texas Tech over BYU
This one makes me nervous. BYU is the best team that Texas Tech has faced so far this season. The Texas Tech defense will need to force Bear Bachmeier to make mistakes that he just hasn't made this year.
BYU is once again getting very little respect in Vegas. I'll hammer the plus points for BYU. They're not losing by double figures. I still like Tech in Lubbock, but there are several avenues for the Red Raiders to lose this game.
(4) TCU over Iowa State
I love Iowa State. I love the way they play football. This year's version of the Cyclones is just not a good football team. I have nothing left to give to the Cyclones. TCU is a decent favorite (-6.5) in Vegas and in FPI (66.3%). The Cyclones just lost to Arizona State without Sam Leavitt and Jordyn Tyson.
The good news for Cyclone fans is that Josh Hoover is about as mobile as Peyton Manning. He's not going to take off and run. That was Arizona State's entire offense last week.

Dylan Raiola suffered a broken leg in the loss to USC, and Nebraska's offense struggled after TJ Lateef came in. That likely won't be the case in this one. Dana Holgorsen is going to retool the offense for Lateef's skills, something he couldn't do in the middle of the USC game.
That said, UCLA's defense was never the problem. Jerry Neuheisel has the UCLA offense playing well when they aren't playing Indiana. I may end up backing off on this one a little bit, but Lateef's good plays against Houston Christian and Akron were against overmatched teams. UCLA is not overmatched.
(6) Florida State over Clemson
Florida State leads FBS in yards per game. Clemson's defense is the weakest we've seen it in at least the last decade. I'm not a huge believer in Florida State, but this offense is going to make Clemson stop them. I feel like FSU has more fight in them right now.
(7) Arizona over Kansas
The Kansas defense, or more accurately, lack thereof, is spoiling a truly special season from Jalon Daniels. Noah Fifita against Jalon Daniels is going to be must-see TV, but the Kansas defense is going to be bad enough to make you want to turn it off.
Resist that urge. This is going to be a fun one, unless you're a Kansas fan. I'm afraid the Jayhawks' defense will let you down again.
(8) Southern Mississippi over Arkansas State
I like that Pick Em has thrown a couple of games on there that are off the beaten path. They still have the marquee games, but Pick 'Em is highlighting some of the better games this weekend.
Here we have another game where we have two unheralded quarterbacks going head-to-head. When we last saw Braylon Braxton, he was struggling, then hurt at Tulsa. He never got the job back.
Charles Huff turned Braxton from a skittish scrambler lacking confidence to a quarterback who can throw a football through a tire at 40 yards. Arkansas State's Jaylen Raynor likely could have left for richer pastures, but he elected to stay in Jonesboro.
Raynor is more of a runner than Braxton is now, but both of them can make you pay if you don't assign a spy. I'm looking forward to this matchup!
(9) Texas A&M over Missouri
Texas A&M football is expected to face off against true freshman QB Matt Zollers this weekend.
The Missouri backup finished 14-for-23 with 138 yards and 1 TD vs. Vanderbilt in Week 9.

This isn't a post dogging Matt Zollers. Missouri did catch a break in the fact that Beau Pribula got hurt before the bye week. We'll see a different player come out of the tunnel than the one we saw in Nashville.
My issue here is that the Aggies' defense is going to get after him. Missouri's line broke down in protection against Vanderbilt. If Zollers is running for his life, the poor kid has no chance.
(10) Jacksonville State over UTEP
I mean this in the nicest possible way, but UTEP is not a good team. They'll tell you that since changing from former 5-star recruit Malachi Nelson to last year's starter, Skyler Locklear, the Miners have played better. That's not really true.
The Miners got smoked by Louisiana Tech and Liberty before knocking off one of the worst teams in FBS (Sam Houston). Keeping within 13 points of Kennesaw State is mildly impressive, but the Gamecocks are 4-0 in CUSA. UTEP won't win four games all year...
