DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football Friday Slate (9/26/25)

Jordyn Tyson - College Football DFS Picks, NCAA CFB Rankings

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Friday 9/26/25 in Week 5. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

I don't know about you, but I enjoy having more college football games on Friday nights. Tonight's slate is all Power 4 teams except for Oregon State. Will the Pac-12 be considered a power next year? I think the NCAA probably took all of that away, as well as the dignity of the great Washington State and Oregon State programs. They deserved better.

We open the night in Charlottesville with eighth-ranked Florida State coming to town. TCU heads to the Valley of the Sun to face Arizona State. We end up in Corvallis with Houston playing at Reser Stadium.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/26/25, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers, aiming to highlight one option at each end of the salary scale, from the highest to the lowest. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Conner Weigman, Houston ($7.9K)

You see how easy Weigman made it look against Colorado in the clip above? Expect more of the same against Oregon State. The Beavers have allowed 180 rushing yards per game so far. The pass defense has been solid, but Weigman already has three rushing touchdowns in three games. He doesn't mind taking off. He also has four touchdown passes and hasn't turned the ball over.

Josh Hoover, TCU ($7.7K)

Most quarterbacks are very close in price on this slate. Some popular builds will include paying up for Sam Leavitt and taking a big discount on either Chandler Morris or Maalik Murphy. I prefer to stay in the middle tier tonight. There is far less volatility.

Hoover has already thrown for 1,000 yards in three games this season with 11 touchdown passes. That's a lot of points! He's not a runner like Leavitt or Weigman, but Hoover is the guy who is a lock for 300+ yards in what should be a close game against Arizona State.

Also consider: Sam Leavitt, Arizona State ($8.5K); Chandler Morris, Virginia ($7K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Dean Connors, Houston ($6.6K)

We've already discussed the Oregon State run defense. Houston is going to win this game on the ground. Connors has 221 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the two games where he played the whole game. He also picked up four receptions for 25 more yards. Connors is active in every facet of the offense. He honestly feels a little too cheap at this price.

Anthony Hankerson, Oregon State ($5.2K)

This pick is based on talent and price. Hankerson is far too talented to be this cheap. Texas Tech locked him up and blew out the Beavers, so it was a subpar day for him. He wasn't much better against Oregon as the Ducks blew out OSU as well. So, the question is: will Houston blow out the Beavers?

It's a possibility. Houston controlled the line against Colorado; however, Rice ran 53 times against Houston in the Bayou Bucket game. It wasn't with a lot of success. I expect the Beavers to get Hankerson involved as much as possible in this game.

I wouldn't expect a big game from Big Hank, but we should see enough production to justify this price tag. If the game stays close, Hankerson could wind up as one of the higher-scoring RBs.

Gavin Sawchuk, Florida State ($4.1K)

This is a hard backfield to pin down, especially with Roydell Williams back in the fold. The Seminoles have blown out back-to-back opponents, but the Oklahoma transfer has been involved in each game. He picked up 10.1 DK points in the opener against Alabama.

Sawchuk has scored six times in three games. We may need a TD to get value out of him, but if the Seminoles are going to keep feeding him around the goal line, his chances of scoring are good.

Also consider: Raleek Brown, Arizona State ($6.2K); J'Mari Taylor, Virginia ($5.6K); Jeremy Payne, TCU ($4.7K); Harrison Waylee, Virginia ($4.4K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State ($7.4K)

Tyson has 31 receptions so far this year. No one else on the team has more than 13. His 357 receiving yards are 222 yards more than the next closest. Tyson has five of Arizona State's six passing touchdowns.

No one can touch his target share or his output percentages. We have to find room for Tyson in any lineup. His price could be $9K, and I would still pay up for Tyson. He has been that dominant.

Eric McAlister, TCU ($6.8K)

SMU couldn't handle McAlister at all. He nuked the slate on Saturday with 54.4 DraftKings points. Arizona State got burned a few times on deep plays, especially against Mississippi State. None of the teams that the Sun Devils have played have a receiver anywhere close to the talent of McAlister.

Joseph Manjack IV, TCU ($4.8K)

I'm a little bit surprised that Manjack is this cheap. McAlister hogging most of the output last week seems to have something to do with it. Manjack still hit double-digit DK points at the minimum price last week. DK got smart and made us think about it this time.

Manjack is probably best used in stacks, but he's still a good low-priced option for those of you who choose to spend up at other positions.

Micahi Danzy, Florida State ($3.1K)

The Seminoles haven't had to throw much this year, so it's really hard to tell what this passing game will really look like. Danzy has scored in double figures in DK points every game. Yes, even against Alabama. That makes him the easiest Seminoles receiver to trust.

Also consider: Trent Walker, Oregon State ($6.1K); Trell Harris, Virginia ($5.5K); Duce Robinson, Florida State ($3.5K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Stacks

Houston vs. Oregon State

Oregon State is the worst defense on the slate, and it's not close. However, they have already had the misfortune of facing both Texas Tech and Oregon, two of the best offenses in the country. That skews the stats a bit.

It helps that Houston is an easy team to stack. It is rather affordable. I expect to see a lot of Weigman/Connors mini-stacks to take advantage of Oregon State's troubles against the run.

Houston's offense is rather predictable, meaning that we know who's going to produce. We may not know how or why, but we do know who. I'll have four-man stacks of Weigman/Connors/Tanner Koziol/Stephon Johnson.

TCU vs. Arizona State - game stack

I can't decide which side of this I like better. The stats lean toward Arizona State, but the price leans toward TCU. The good news is that we have enough value on this slate to get most of the pieces on both sides of this.

If you are full-stacking TCU, lean with the passing game. Hoover and McAlister are going to be the most-used mini stack. Adding Manjack, Jordan Dwyer, and Jeremy Payne will set you apart.

An Arizona State full-stack is a little tougher to pull off. Sam Leavitt will be paired with Tyson a lot, but an Arizona State full-stack will include two running backs. Raleek Brown still got most of the carries even with Kyson Brown back, but Kyson should still be more involved in the passing game. The fifth member of this stack would be Chamon Metayer.

You can't run a 4/4 game stack. DraftKings won't let you. However, you can run Leavitt with Tyson and Hoover with McAlister. Add in both backs (Raleek Brown and Payne), and you still have $8.5K for two slots. On this slate, there is enough value to pull it off.

Also consider: Florida State, Oregon State (GPP only)
