Week 4 Kicker Streamers and Starts - 2025 Fantasy Tiers, Rankings

Jason Myers - Fantasy Football Rankings, Kicker Streamers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Kacey Kasem looks at all 2025 fantasy football Week 4 kickers -- streamers, starts, sits, targets, avoids, and waiver wire pickups. Our Week 4 rankings and tiers for all of the NFL kickers.

We're back with another look at fantasy football kickers: the streamers, starts, and tiered rankings for Week 4 of the 2025 season. With three weeks in the books, kickers have been doing more than just chipping in a few points. Some of them are outscoring the position players we took early!

Look at Spencer Shrader, tallying 44 fantasy points so far this season. He's scored more points than Ricky Pearsall, Courtland Sutton, Kyren Williams, Dak Prescott, and… well, the list goes on and on. Brandon Aubrey and Joey Slye are also right there with names like Josh Jacobs, Tyreek Hill, and Jakobi Meyers.

It reminds us that kickers can help you win a matchup just as much as a WR2, depending on volume. It's essential to stream the right kicker if you go that route, and this week provides us with some great options. On the other hand, there are a few kickers you'd benefit from sitting. Let's break down who to start, who to avoid, and how the tiers shape up for Week 4.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Kicker Streamers to Target for Week 4

Only players rostered in fewer than 60% of fantasy football leagues are considered streamers.

Jason Myers (SEA) at Arizona Cardinals
3% Rostered

One of the most trustworthy streaming options at the kicker position over the years is Seattle's Myers, who performed wonderfully in Week 3. He went 3-for-3 on field goals, connecting from 56, 46, and 37 yards. Additionally, Myers was 5-for-5 on extra points in the blowout win over the Saints on Sunday. His 56-yarder displayed the Seahawks' trust in the 34-year-old from long range.

Through three weeks, Myers has connected on 6-of-7 field goals and a perfect 10-of-10 on extra points. This Seattle team can maintain drives, but that doesn't always end in a TD. That's exactly what you're looking for in a kicker; someone who'll have plenty of FG attempts.

This week, he takes on the Cardinals indoors, which means there are no weather concerns, helping to boost his accuracy. The Seahawks are favored in this match, but not by much. Look for drives that end in field goals in this one. Myers is rostered in just 3% of Yahoo leagues, but he's in line for yet another double-digit performance.

If you've been burned by kickers up until this point, making a move for the Seahawks is one of your best bets.

Joey Slye (TEN) at Houston Texans
10% Rostered

It wasn't the cleanest outing for Slye in Week 3, but the box score is a bit deceiving. Slye went 2-for-4 on field goals, connecting from 57 and 42 yards. His misses came from 64 yards out and a blocked 62-yarder (after a delay-of-game penalty on his team).

Through the first three contests, Slye is 10-of-12 on field goals. He's also attempted six kicks from 50+ yards, knocking in four. The Virginia Tech alum has trust from the coaching staff to go along with a relatively strong leg. Additionally, he's connected on all extra points attempted. The Titans are sitting at 0-3, but their struggles can help with the kicker's fantasy outlook.

If the offense stalls, he may be called upon for more field goals.

To start the 2025 season, Slye scored 15, 17, and 9 fantasy points. He's been a legit weapon for fantasy rosters so far, posting numbers similar to mid-tier WRs. Against Houston, expect Tennessee to move the ball enough to give Slye a handful of FG tries. Slye is a guy to consider picking up and streaming if you need a boost from the waiver wire.

Will Reichard (MIN) at Pittsburgh Steelers
13% Rostered

Reichard has had a brilliant start to the 2025 season, posting weekly fantasy scores of 9, 8, and 14. In Week 3, the kicker connected on both field goals, including a 62-yard franchise record. He also knocked in all six of his extra points in that contest. This season, he hasn't missed a kick: 6-for-6 FGs, 7-for-7 XPs.

Basically, the Vikings have to use Reichard. In Week 2, the offense sputtered, and Reichard scored the team's only points. They'll be on the road facing the Steelers in Ireland, with a low total and a close spread. You want a kicker you can trust in deep range in situations like this, and Reichard fills that role perfectly. Minnesota isn't afraid to use him on 4th-and-short outside the 30 because he's been so accurate.

Reichard is rostered in 13% of Yahoo leagues, but his safe floor and accuracy make him the ideal play for Week 4. He should put up a few field goals this week, always with the potential of being long FGs.

Kickers to Avoid for Week 4

Wil Lutz (DEN) vs. Cincinnati Bengals
21% Rostered

Lutz has been fine this season, with fantasy scores of 8, 3, and 9. He's knocked in 4-of-5 field goals and all eight extra point attempts. The issue here isn't his talent, but it's more the environment. Denver faces the Bengals in Week 4, and they're a heavy favorite to win. In that case, you'll be getting touchdowns over field goals in this contest.

Not so great for Lutz managers, as he'll just be gaining fantasy points through XPs.

Sean Payton's offenses have been known to finish drives inside the 30. He's going to trust his offensive playmakers when they're facing a fourth-and-short instead of calling on the kicker. Cincinnati's offense might not be able to keep pace in this one, so the Broncos won't need field goals to stay ahead.

Week 4 looks like one where Lutz will score a few extra points and maybe a short field goal. His floor is stable, but his ceiling is capped. Dome streamers like Reichard or Myers could be available, so rotating that way would be advisable this week.

Evan McPherson (CIN) at Denver Broncos
45% Rostered

I'm going to tell you to avoid one of the most talented legs in the NFL this week because the volume just hasn't been there. McPherson has tallied 5, 7, and 5 fantasy points through three weeks. The accuracy is there, perfect on all three field goals and seven extra point attempts. The lack of volume hasn't translated to useful fantasy numbers.

The Bengals are in rough shape, with Jake Browning starting in place of an injured Joe Burrow (turf toe). The whole offense gets a downgrade due to this, and McPherson's opportunities dwindle. In Week 4, Cincinnati is pegged as a road underdog against Denver. McPherson will have limited opportunities in this one, but he won't be completely useless if they can get him into range.

Denver has conceded the second-most fantasy points to kickers this season, as opponents get stalled in field goal range. If McPherson gets a chance to attempt a 50+ FG in this one, it'll save his fantasy day. Just don't expect the work to be there in this one. He's a fine play this week, but if you can pivot, it's best to find a kicker in a more volume-friendly matchup.

Jake Bates (DET) vs. Cleveland Browns
92% Rostered

Here's a spicy addition to the list: Bates is rostered in almost every league. In Week 4, you might think twice about playing him. The Lions are big home favorites in a dome, which sounds good, but it looks like touchdowns and extra points, not so much in the field goal department.

The Browns' defense has given up the sixth-fewest fantasy points to kickers this year. Although that's a small sample size, Cleveland has been forcing punts before field goal range or giving up short TDs.

He won't have a bad fantasy outing as he's on a strong offense and will be playing in a dome. He'll see opportunities, but his ceiling is limited. Don't expect a double-digit outing from Bates this week. A 6-8 point range is a more reasonable expectation. If there are streamers available, you don't need to settle for average.

Just because everyone else is starting him doesn't mean you have to.
