2025 NFL First-Round Mock Draft (Featuring Trades)

Abdul Carter - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Mike's 2025 NFL First-Round Mock Draft With trades. His mock draft picks for each NFL team during the first round of the 2025 NFL draft while including trades.

The 2025 NFL Draft is less than six weeks away. Every NFL team has different needs than they did two weeks ago because of free agency.

There are still a few big-name players available on the open market. However, let’s dive into my first mock draft of the year for RotoBaller.

This mock draft is only for the first round and includes five hypothetical trades.

Editor's Note: Prepare for draft day with RotoBaller’s expert Fantasy Football Mock Drafts. Use our free Fantasy Football Mock Draft Tool and Draft Assistant to explore player trends, ADP insights, and winning roster strategies for every league format.

Picks 1-10

1) Tennessee Titans – Cameron Ward (QB – Miami)

After signing multiple offensive linemen in free agency, the Titans get the top quarterback in the draft class to start under center in Week 1. Last year, Ward had 39 passing touchdowns, the most in the ACC.

2) Cleveland Browns – Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)

While Deshaun Watson is under contract through the 2027 season, the Browns have to find his replacement sooner than later.

3) New York Giants – Travis Hunter (WR/CB – Colorado)

With no quarterback worthy of the pick, the Giants add arguably the best wide receiver and cornerback in the draft class, improving their receiving core and secondary with one pick.

4) New England Patriots – Abdul Carter (EDGE – Penn State)

The Patriots couldn’t be happier to see two quarterbacks go off the board in the first three picks, pushing the draft class’ top edge rusher into their lap.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Chicago Bears receive pick 5. Jacksonville Jaguars receive picks 10, 41.

5) Chicago Bears (via Jaguars) – Will Campbell (OT – LSU)

After adding three new interior offensive linemen earlier this offseason, the Bears trade ahead of a couple of offensive tackle-needy teams to secure Caleb Williams’ new left tackle.

6) Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)

New head coach Pete Carroll wants to run the ball. However, the group of Raheem Mostert, Zamir White, and Sincere McCormick lacks any upside. Jeanty would be Carroll’s new Marshawn Lynch.

7) New York Jets – Armand Membou (OT – Missouri)

Last year, the Jets used their first-round pick on left tackle Olu Fashanu. Now, they pair him with Membou on the right side.

8) Carolina Panthers – Tyler Warren (TE – Penn State)

The Panthers improved their defensive line in free agency, allowing them to give Bryce Young arguably the top pass catcher in the draft class.

9) New Orleans Saints – Shemar Stewart (EDGE – Texas A&M)

While the Saints re-signed Chase Young, Cameron Jordan isn’t getting any younger. Stewart has as much upside as any edge rusher in the draft this year.

10) Jacksonville Jaguars (via Bears) – Jalon Walker (EDGE – Georgia)

Despite having invested first-round draft picks in Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker, don’t be surprised if the Jaguars draft the former Georgia star. Walker can rush the passer and play some linebacker, too.

Picks 11-20

11) San Francisco 49ers – Mason Graham (DL – Michigan)

San Francisco needs to add multiple players along the defensive line after losing Javon Hargrave, Leonard Floyd, and Maliek Collins in free agency.

12) Dallas Cowboys – Matthew Golden (WR – Texas)

Last year, CeeDee Lamb had 152 targets despite missing the final two games with a shoulder injury. The next closest Cowboy was Jake Ferguson with 86 targets. Golden’s draft stock has vastly improved since running a 4.29 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.

13) Miami Dolphins – Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT – Texas)

Terron Armstead is considering retirement this offseason. Therefore, Banks could start at left tackle as a rookie.

14) Indianapolis Colts – Tyler Booker (G – Alabama)

The Colts lost two starting offensive linemen in free agency, including right guard Will Fries. Booker is one of the most pro-ready offensive linemen in the draft class.

15) Atlanta Falcons – Mykel Williams (EDGE – Georgia)

Atlanta has struggled to rush the passer for years. While adding Leonard Floyd in free agency was a solid move, the Falcons must spend an early pick in the NFL Draft on an edge rusher.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Houston Texans receive pick 16. Arizona Cardinals receive picks 25, 58.

16) Houston Texans (via Cardinals) – Josh Simmons (OT – Ohio State)

After trading away Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders, don’t be surprised if the Texans are aggressive during the NFL Draft and move up for an offensive tackle.

17) Cincinnati Bengals – James Pearce Jr. (EDGE – Tennessee)

Hopefully, the Bengals can keep Trey Hendrickson in town Don’t be surprised if Cincinnati uses their first-round pick on an edge rusher even if the superstar returns.

18) Seattle Seahawks – Grey Zabel (OL – North Dakota State)

The Seahawks have one of the worst interior offensive lines in the NFL. Zabel can play anywhere along the line but is best suited on the interior.

19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jihaad Campbell (LB – Alabama)

While the Buccaneers re-signed Lavonte David this offseason, the veteran isn’t getting any younger. Campbell could turn into a superstar under head coach Todd Bowles.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

New York Giants receive pick 20. Denver Broncos receive picks 34, 65, 2026 second-rounder.

20) New York Giants (via Broncos) – Jaxson Dart (QB – Ole Miss)

After missing out on the top two quarterbacks, the Giants trade back into the first round for Dart. They jump ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have the next pick and a massive hole at quarterback.

Picks 21-32

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Los Angeles Rams receive pick 21. Pittsburgh Steelers receive picks 26, 90.

21) Los Angeles Rams (via Steelers) – Jahdae Barron (CB – Texas)

Unfortunately, the Steelers will have to wait until Day 2 to draft a quarterback. Meanwhile, the Rams give up a third-round pick to move ahead of several cornerback-needy teams for the former Texas star.

22) Los Angeles Chargers – Colston Loveland (TE – Michigan)

Don’t be surprised if Jim Harbaugh pushes for a former Michigan star when the Chargers are on the clock. Loveland would give Justin Herbert another weapon besides Ladd McConkey.

23) Green Bay Packers – Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)

The last time the Packers spent a first-round pick on a wide receiver was in 2002. While they likely won’t break that trend this year, Green Bay should add a wide receiver early in the draft.

24) Minnesota Vikings – Nick Emmanwori (S – South Carolina)

Minnesota significantly improved their offensive and defensive line in free agency, allowing them to add the top safety in the draft class.

25) Arizona Cardinals (via Texans) – Kenneth Grant (DL – Michigan)

While the Cardinals added Dalvin Tomlinson in free agency, they need more help along their defensive line, especially after struggling to stop the run last season.

26) Pittsburgh Steelers (via Rams) – Malaki Starks (DB – Georgia)

Starks can play multiple spots in the secondary, including both safety positions and nickel corner. He would be an excellent long-term addition to pair with Joey Porter Jr.

27) Baltimore Ravens – Donovan Jackson (G – Ohio State)

The Ravens held onto Ronnie Stanley this offseason but lost Mekari Patrick in free agency. Jackson could start at left guard as a rookie and kick out to left tackle if Stanley misses time with an injury.

28) Detroit Lions – Mike Green (EDGE – Marshall)

Last year, the Lions pass rush struggled after Aidan Hutchinson suffered a season-ending injury. Pairing him with Green will give every offensive line in the NFC North nightmares.

29) Washington Commanders – Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)

Despite trading for Deebo Samuel Sr. this offseason, the veteran only has one year left on his deal. Meanwhile, Terry McLaurin turns 30 in September and is heading into the final year of his contract. Egbuka had 10 receiving touchdowns last season for Ohio State.

30) Buffalo Bills – Will Johnson (CB – Michigan)

Buffalo brought back Dane Jackson after he spent last season with the Carolina Panthers. However, they still need help in the secondary, especially with Christian Benford heading into the final year of his contract.

31) Kansas City Chiefs – Derrick Harmon (DL – Oregon)

While Chris Jones is still one of the top defenders in the NFL, the Chiefs need to add to their defensive line unit after losing Tershawn Wharton and Derrick Nnadi in free agency.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Chicago Bears receive picks 32, 96. Philadelphia Eagles receive picks 39, 72.

32) Chicago Bears (via Eagles) – Omarion Hampton (RB – UNC)

The Bears make their second trade of this mock draft, swapping third-round picks with the Eagles to move ahead of the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos for Hampton. Ben Johnson now has his new 1-2 punch in the backfield.
