NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Wednesday, March 16th

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Jake Finnen presents his Fantasy Score NBA DFS prop picks on PrizePicks for Wednesday, March 16th. Use his NBA prop picks recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

Wednesday’s 12-game slate makes for a great rebound from Tuesday’s grouping of just four games. Only one game finished within a 15-point win margin and the Detroit Piston continue to be a team that is playing well above what their record shows, despite losing to good teams. Phoenix and New Orleans played a tightly contested matchup that will continue to fuel the Pelicans’ newly discovered momentum. Not being at full strength is a great excuse at times, but when you are truly missing one of those players that flips every game dynamic on its head, simply by being on the court, it’s an acceptable excuse for the time being. Zion Williamson has to be itching to get back on the court with how proficient his team has been without him, and he’s not the type of player to pull from that upon his return. Today’s games range from random to reserves. If the game isn’t an out-of-conference matchup, it is featuring some type of mashup between backup players filling in for starters. That’s to be expected around this part of the season, but not knowing this information makes prop betting even more treacherous than it already is… not like that’ll stop us anyway.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 1.

Terry Rozier OVER 33.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts – The Hawks defense is intimidating when looking at certain sections of their defense, but Trae Young being out there leaves a size advantage for opposing guards. Not to mention that Young’s style of play is extremely influential throughout the course of a game. The more he shoots, the more the Hornets guards are going to want to shoot. With Rozier being that guy, currently, to command enough of the attempts to make it all worth the while, his ability to naturally create offense creates upside for his teammates. Rozier is going to have his hands all over this game and alongside LaMelo Ball, should be the 1-2 punch Hornets want heading into this game tonight. Both are able to finish around the rim, even with the likes of Clint Capela guarding the paint. Combine that with the upside created by Young’s hair-trigger shooting, the pace of this game should favor two of the Hornets favorite “downhill” players.

James Harden OVER 0.5 Double-Double – The good thing about James Harden being a player that works in isolation is that he is a stat-chaser whether he likes it or not. Being the player that either want so start the offense or finish the play means you are putting yourself in a position to get an assist or score nearly every possession. Harden has been one, if not, the only player over the past couple of years to demand incredibly high-usage games and actually create a winning formula from it. Granted, it failed down the road in the playoffs, but it won the Rockets numerous regular season games and put Harden’ led teams in promising seeding positions. Until something drastically changes, Harden’s brain is nearly hard-wired to get stats and gather up 10 rebounds when he can’t get the assists, or force 10 assists down his opponents’ throat through alley-oops or dump-offs when he can’t get the rebounds. Either way, the last four times Harden has faced the Cavaliers, he’s double-doubled one way or another.

Darius Garland OVER 8.5 Assists – You don’t put up 19 assists against a team and chalk it up to a good night of basketball. Darius Garland might not have admitted that he has the 76ers number, but he does there’s nothing anyone in Philadelphia can do about it. As long as the 76ers are putting Harden on the court, opposing guards are going to be the ones chipping away at Philadelphia’s defense and leading the charge on a nightly basis. Garland has been Cleveland’s best player whenever he is available to play and we’ve seen just how intimidating this 76ers defense really is. Win or lose, Garland is getting his against this backcourt.

Stephen Curry OVER 24.5 Points – Now that the Warriors have finally returned their power-trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, there’s going to be no shortage of upside, although all three playing together can only lead to some more unpredictably amazing nights from two of the greatest shooters of all time, and one of the most impactful team-players this side of the millennium. There are going to be nights where one shooter gets priority over the other, but as long as all three on the court together, the upside will continue to be unmatched. Curry’s point average should increase now that he has support and he’s always been a player to play better when the team is providing support, rather than him trying to carry all the weight on his own.

Other Recommendations – Kevin Huerter OVER 18.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts, James Harden OVER 39.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts, Royce O’Neale OVER 15.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts, Al Horford (but preferably Robert Williams) OVER 1.5 Steals + Blocks

Overall recommendation for this play: POWER PLAY
