2025 Fantasy Football: Week 14 Waiver Wire Adds

Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jaguars

Bhayshul Tuten might be the priority handcuff to stash in fantasy football. While he not only possesses immense value if Travis Etienne Jr. were to miss time, he is slowly beginning to see an increase in standalone value, which makes him even more important to roster. On Sunday, Tuten logged 32% of the snaps and took eight carries for 17 yards and a score.

Over his last three games, the rookie has logged at least 30% of the snaps in all but one game and is averaging a solid 10.0 carries per game over this stretch. While Etienne is still leading the backfield, Tuten is beginning to not only lower his upside but also reach low-end FLEX territory. Managers looking for a lottery ticket should prioritize Tuten this week.

Bam Knight, RB, Cardinals

While Tuten is the long-term play with decent short-term upside, Knight is the short-term play for those needing a victory in Week 14 to book a ticket to the fantasy playoffs. With Trey Benson (knee) still on the shelf, Knight once again led the Arizona backfield. During their loss to the Buccaneers, Knight took 11 carries for 62 yards and brought in all three of his targets for 36 yards and a score.

Over his last three games, Knight has found the back of the end zone three times (twice on the ground) and has averaged 15.5 PPR points per game during this stretch. Given Benson's slow progression, there is a strong possibility the Cardinals will turn to Knight once again.

Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Commanders

The final running back to prioritize this weekend is Chris Rodriguez Jr. of the Washington Commanders. Rodriguez made this column last weekend, and after his showing on Sunday night, he has entered must-roster status. During their loss to the Broncos, Rodriguez looked comfortable in the lead role despite facing a tough rushing defense.

In this game, Rodriguez totaled 41 yards and a score on 11 carries. He saw 45% of the snaps, while Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols both saw under 28% of the snaps. With easier matchups on the horizon against the Giants and Cowboys, Rodriguez is a sneaky solid RB2 going forward.

Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers

When looking at the WR market, Mike Evans stands alone at the top. Evans has had a tough battle with injuries this season, dealing with a hamstring injury and, more recently, a collarbone injury. However, on Monday, HC Todd Bowles said that Evans is progressing very well and could even begin practicing this week.

In addition, on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that there is a chance he could return from the IR this coming Sunday, when they face the New Orleans Saints. During the three full games he played in (Week 1 through 3), Evans saw 9.3 targets per game and averaged 11.3 PPR points per game.

When active, he will be Baker Mayfield's go-to option. He is worth spending the remainder of your FAAB budget on.

Luther Burden III, WR, Bears

Similar to Tuten, Burden is the high-priority WR lottery ticket managers should hold on their bench ahead of the fantasy playoffs. Over the last three games, Burden has finally been deployed as a full-time starter nd the team's clear WR3 over Olamide Zaccheaus. During these three games, the former second-round selection has logged over 50% of the snaps in two games and has averaged 5.3 targets per game.

While his modest 7.5 PPR point average does not win you fantasy championships, if Rome Odunze or DJ Moore were to miss time, Burden could be a league-winner. On a per-catch basis, the Missouri product is averaging 12.6 YPC and has already caught five passes for longer than 20 yards.

Devaughn Vele, WR, Saints

Devaughn Vele enjoyed a massive breakout showing in Week 13. During their tough loss to the Dolphins, the former Bronco wideout led the way in the New Orleans passing attack, catching all eight of his targets for 93 yards and a score. With Chris Olave entering the game with a questionable tag due to a back injury, Vele did most of the heavy lifting.

In fact, over his last two games, Vele has seen a drastic increase in targets, seeing 7.5 per game. With Rashid Shaheed now in Seattle, Vele faces minimal competition for the No. 2 WR job for the remainder of the season. While his usage may be capped due to New Orleans's inconsistent offense, Vele should continue to hold viable plug-and-play FLEX value.

Brenton Strange, TE, Jaguars

Rounding out this week's list will be our top tight end to pick up. Strange returned from the IR last weekend and has wasted little time making an impact. In his first two games back from injury, the tight end has averaged a strong 13.9 PPR points per game. During this stretch, he has seen 4.5 targets per game with 69.0 yards per game.

Before his injury, Strange was making a similar impact, tallying 9.3 PPR points per game during Weeks 1 through 4. Managers who need a reliable TE1 should allocate most of their FAAB budget to Strange this week.
