Trea Turner Suffers Hamstring Strain
Trea Turner (hamstring) exited Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins with a strained right hamstring, according to Scott Lauber of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Turner reached on an error in the seventh inning and then removed himself from the game. The Phillies subbed in Edmundo Sosa to replace Turner, who finished the day 1-for-4 with a solo home run. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Turner end up on the 10-day injured list, which would be an unwelcome late-season development for both the Phillies and fantasy managers. The 32-year-old star has put together another terrific campaign, having slashed .305/.356/.458 with 15 homers, 69 RBI, 94 runs scored, and 36 stolen bases in 637 plate appearances. Turner is on track to win his second career batting title.
