San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa (neck) returned to certain portions of practice on Tuesday but was held out of team drills, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner. Bosa has been battling neck soreness, but it appears he's nearing a full return with plenty of time before the regular season gets underway. The 27-year-old is coming off a down year by his standards, recording his fewest sacks (nine), solo tackles (33), and QB hits (24) since his rookie season. Bosa is just a few seasons removed from winning Defensive Player of the Year, so he still has the potential to be a game-wrecking edge rusher and a fantasy asset in IDP leagues.--Will Brady
