Detroit Red Wings forward Andrew Copp (upper body) has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his left pectoral tendon. He was injured in Saturday's matchup against the Minnesota Wild. Copp's recovery is expected to take 4-6 months. The 30-year-old finishes the 2024-25 campaign with 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in 56 outings. Detroit has placed Copp on Injured Reserve and recalled Sheldon Dries from the AHL in a corresponding move. Dries, who last saw NHL action in 2022-23, is projected to enter the lineup on the fourth line Tuesday night for a rematch against Minnesota.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
