San Jose Sharks forward Adam Gaudette (upper body) could be out for more than day-to-day, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports. Gaudette sustained an upper-body injury on Sunday versus the Minnesota Wild and will miss his first game of the season on Tuesday when the Sharks face the Los Angeles Kings. Even though Gaudette has averaged less than 11 minutes of ice time, he has made a notable impact in his nine appearances this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist. Jeff Skinner, who was a healthy scratch on Sunday, will take Gaudette's place in the Sharks lineup against the Kings. Skinner averaged a point per game in the first four contests of the season, but he hasn't added any to his tally since then.--Taavi Pailk
