Wyatt's dynasty fantasy football trade advice for quarterbacks to target and avoid. His top buys and sells for 2026: Tyler Shough, Cameron Ward, Jaxson Dart, and Caleb Williams.
The quarterback position is the most important in all sports and the most polarizing among fans. We either idolize our quarterback and proudly wear his jersey or we’re ready to sell it as soon as they begin to disappoint.
In fantasy, it might not be the most valuable position when constructing a roster, depending on your league format, but it could be a launching pad. Acquiring the right one can take your team from a playoff contender to a championship favorite. On the flip side, trading away a high-valued quarterback can fetch key assets to boost your roster and help speed up a rebuild.
Today, we’re going to break down four quarterbacks that might be worth investing in or cashing out.

Buy: Tyler Shough, QB, New Orleans Saints
Tyler Shough quietly was one of the best fantasy & NFL quarterbacks down the stretch of the 2025 season. The Louisville product was QB8 in points per game and QB10 overall from Week 10 on in fantasy. During that stretch, Shough also posted 18 points per game or had over 20 rushing yards, flashing his dual-threat ability.

Shough’s success also translated to real NFL football for the New Orleans Saints. The 40th pick in the 2025 Draft instantly made the Saints a competitive franchise, as they went on to win four of their final five games. The Saints had only won one game before Shough became the starter in Week 9 (1-8).
Additionally, Shough was the runner-up for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award after only starting nine games. The 26-year-old led all rookie quarterbacks in completion percentage (67.6), passing yards per game (216.7), and overall PFF grade (74.6). As a result, the Saints made Shough their franchise quarterback and have decided to build their team around him.
They are going all in with him after solely seeing him in nine starts. That is a significant sign that fantasy managers should not ignore.
They signed Travis Etienne, drafted Jordyn Tyson with the eighth overall pick, and later selected Bryce Lance in the fourth round. The offensive ecosystem has drastically improved this offseason.
Shough now has two No. 1 receivers on the roster that are perfect complements to each other and a big-bodied vertical threat to stretch the defense. Chris Olave is a man-beating vertical threat who had his breakout season in 2025.
Tyson is one of the best zone-beating prospects from recent draft classes with an elite success rate vs. zone coverage. Lance is a developmental receiver who is a threat downfield and after the catch, at 6-foot-3, paired with a 4.34 40-yard dash and a 41-inch vertical.
The Saints have an offense that can stretch defenses vertically and horizontally. When head coach Kellen Moore has had the right piece, he has produced the No. 1 offense in total yards multiple times. Shough can now attack weak points at all three levels of the field and has the coach to put him in a position to succeed.
Current KeepTradeCut Values:
- QB - Bryce Young (superflex)
- RB - Tony Pollard
- WR - Chris Godwin Jr.
- TE - Brenton Strange
- Rookie Pick - 2026 Late Second
Buy: Cameron Ward, QB, Tennessee Titans
As the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Cameron Ward was stepping into a less-than-ideal situation. After a slow start, the Titans fired their head coach, and the offense battled injuries all year. Yet Ward persevered and ended the season on a high.

In his final seven games, Ward was the QB14 in fantasy football. During that stretch, he had four games with over 15 fantasy points, four games with multiple touchdown passes, and only threw one interception (9/1 touchdown-to-interception ratio).
This offseason, the Tennessee Titans have done everything they can to improve the situation around Ward.
Earlier in the offseason, the Titans hired Robert Saleh as their next head coach and Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator. It was no secret that Ward was the apple of Daboll’s eye last offseason during the NFL Draft process.
The Giants offered the Titans multiple first-round picks to acquire the first overall pick, and Daboll went as far as trying to convince Titans GM Mike Borgonzi to draft a different player, according to Bobby Kownack from NFL Network and Todd McShay from The Ringer.
Daboll is known as a quarterback whisperer and is most notably known for developing Josh Allen. In an interview with NFL Insider Tom Pelissero, Borgonzi went on to say Daboll had a “vision” on how he was going to use Ward in his offense. If an NFL offensive guru like Daboll has his eyes all over Ward, it is something to take note of.
With a supportive coaching staff in place, the Titans took the next step by selecting Carnell Tate fourth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft. Tate instantly walks in as the WR1 and gives that Titans offense a much-needed boost after not having a pass-catcher eclipse 600 receiving yards last season.
Tate profiles as a big-bodied X receiver that provides a large catch radius for Ward to target. The Ohio St. product will be a vertical threat and a weapon near the end zone on 50/50 balls. Most importantly, he gives Ward a go-to target when plays break down.
Ward might be the biggest winner this offseason with massive additions to the offensive ecosystem around him. He now has the opportunity to show everyone why he is worthy of being the first overall pick a year ago.
Current KeepTradeCut Values:
- QB - Dak Prescott (superflex)
- RB - RJ Harvey
- WR - Davante Adams
- TE - Isaiah Likely
- Rookie Pick - 2027 Mid Second
Sell: Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants
The New York Giants and Jaxson Dart took over the league early last season with their exciting, reckless style. Dart and Cam Skattebo were the kings of New York, consistently competitive in most games.

Dart was the QB1 in all of fantasy football from Week 4 to Week 10, posting 23.3 fantasy points per game. Ultimately, it was not enough for Coach Daboll to keep his job, and the Giants won only two games during that stretch.
In the post-Daboll Era (Weeks 11-18), Dart was the QB26, and his points per game dropped to 16.6. The 23-year-old suffered a concussion in Week 10 and was forced to miss two games. Dart was evaluated for four different concussions before the one he sustained against the Chicago Bears.
Heading into Year 2, the biggest question surrounding Dart is his ability to stay on the field. His play style often puts him in harm's way and leaves him vulnerable to injury. Additionally, defensive coordinators have film on Dart and a full offseason to pick apart his game. The Ole Miss product will have to adjust his play to combat defenses that will attempt to keep him in the pocket.
Among 40 NFL quarterbacks with at least 185 dropbacks in the regular season, Dart’s 6.7 yards per passing ranks 29th, 59.6 accuracy percentage ranks 27th, 3.4% turnover-worthy play rate ranks 27th, and his 64.8 PFF passing grade ties for 32nd, according to PFF.
Dart also plays in the NFC East, where every team made drastic improvements to its defense. Dallas selected top safety Caleb Downs and edge rusher Malachi Lawrence in the first round. Washington bolstered its front seven by signing edge rusher Odafe Oweh, linebacker Leo Chenal, and drafting a traitsy linebacker in Sonny Styles 7th overall.
Philadelphia signed Jordan Davis to an extension to keep him paired with Jalen Carter to maintain the best interior defensive line in the league.
Dart is a talented young quarterback and will be marketed as one of the faces of the NFL. With that pressure to be a major success, paired with playing difficult NFC East defenses six times a year, Dart could be in line for a sophomore slump.
Dart’s rushing ability makes him an enticing fantasy option, but there are multiple red flags in his fantasy profile. Dart is seen as a rising star in the dynasty community, and this could be the perfect opportunity to sell high and get key assets in return.

Buy: Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears took a major jump in Year 1 under Ben Johnson. The team went from a five-win team to an 11-win division winner. Not only did the team perform better under Coach Johnson, but Caleb Williams showed flashes of the generational talent he was drafted to be.

Williams threw for a career high 3,942 passing yards with 27 touchdowns. In the process, Williams finished as the QB6 overall last season, which was a big jump from QB16 as a rookie. However, there is still a lot to be desired for Williams play. The 24-year-old still had stretches of inconsistency on the field, but displayed his out-of-this-world playmaking ability during crucial moments.
This is also the first time Williams can focus on improving his game instead of worrying about learning a new offense or figuring out the ins and outs of being a pro quarterback. The goal for Williams in 2026 will be to make those high-level plays more consistently.
Additionally, Williams can vault his fantasy production with his athleticism in the rushing department. The former first overall pick made his fantasy jump while also rushing for over 100 fewer yards than as a rookie.
Williams has shown that his floor play can get him knocking on the door to being a top-5 fantasy quarterback. His potential ceiling could land him on the doorstep of being the QB1 overall if he can put it all together.
This could be the last opportunity for a long while to buy Williams at a value in fantasy football. If he plays at his peak in 2026, he will be unable to acquire in superflex leagues and potentially single-quarterback leagues.

- WR - Brian Thomas Jr.
