Alec Pierce Goes for 48 Yards in Return from Two-Game Absence
Alec Pierce caught two of his four targets for 48 yards in a 31-27 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6. Pierce made his return to the field after missing the two previous games with a concussion. The veteran immediately returned to his role as the team's field stretcher, hauling in passes of 26 and 22 yards in the close win. Pierce has just 11 catches on the season but has turned that into 219 yards, good for a 19.9 yards per catch average. The veteran receiver will now get ready to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7. He sets up as a boom/bust flex option for that contest.
