After he left the game early during the first half due to a knee injury, Oklahoma linebacker Kip Lewis returned to action sporting a knee brace as he hopes to help guide the Sooners' defense through a high-profile non-conference tilt. Lewis, who was initially replaced by James Nesta, led all Oklahoma defenders with 76 tackles last season and is a key piece of head coach Brent Venebales' resistance. Lewis and Nesta each performed well during a 51-0 Week 1 win over UTEP, combining for seven tackles. Oklahoma is currently trailing Michigan at 7-0 late in the first quarter, following a 38-yard touchdown run from Wolverines quarterback Bryce Underwood.--Alex Brasky
