Daymion Sanford a Game-Time Decision in Week 2
Texas A&M linebacker Daymion Sanford (leg) is a game-time decision for the team's Week 2 battle with Arizona State on Saturday. He didn't play in the team's first game either after suffering the injury in the team's spring game. Sanford has played in parts of three seasons for the Aggies, racking up 94 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception. He had 57 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception a season ago. Sanford is a team captain, so getting him back would be a boost for the A&M defense heading into a bigger test than the team had in Week 1. With Sanford out last week against Missouri State, linebackers Noah Mikhail and Ray Coney led the team with seven and six tackles, respectively.
