Quincy Porter Out for Week 2
Notre Dame wide receiver Quincy Porter (knee) is out for the team's Week 2 game against Rice. He did not play in Week 1 against Wisconsin either. In that contest, wideout Jordan Faison led Notre Dame pass catchers with 81 yards across four receptions, while running back Nolan James Jr. had four grabs for 67 yards and a score and wide receiver Micah Gilbert made three catches for 34 yards. Rice will be a more favorable matchup for the Fighting Irish wideouts, so their fantasy outlooks are all improved a bit from last week. Porter hasn't done much in his collegiate career yet, but was a former five-star recruit. He was at Ohio State in 2025, making four catches for 59 yards. He'll look to join the wideout mix for Notre Dame in a week to come, but look for Faison to power things until then.
