On Saturday afternoon, the NASCAR Cup Series held the qualifying session for this weekend's Viva Mexico 250 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City.
The qualifying session consisted of just one round with all cars on track and was shortened because of rain by about 15 minutes.
Cup qualifying will be one group, all cars, a 45-minutes session. So they all will be in same conditions in case it rains.
